Hello My Chairmen

The new increment in IHS and all, does it take effect in April? Can i quickly pay for PSW before then if my Uni clears me?

smiley

It was supposed to be implemented on the 16th of January, but was pushed back due to a delayed parliamentary debate. New date of implementation is Feb 6

This thread is really buzzing. You blink, return and there are 70 pages to read through.
The last time I was here, someone was moaning that Lemondade offereing them Β£1 = 850 was poor as Lemonade rates were not making sense. The OP wanted Β£1 to fetch them at least 1,000 naira.

I guess this person's prayers have been answered.
Β£1 today on Lemondae (Lemfi) can fetch N1,700.50 Madt Ohh...
Less i forget, gala is now 500 naira.

Oya ọ..... Where we fit see gala buy ....... 🀣

Very soon, it would be ₦2000 - Β£1 .......😁

Good morning house, regarding PSW what are the required documents for the application?

Is the marriage cert enough proof of marriage and secondly my concern is the proof of living together for past two years because my wife stays in school hostel while I stay in another city cos of my work and she uses her school address for everything she does and I use house address for everything I do.

Hello.

Has anyone recently done the PCC certificate?

Any links or hints on how to get it, would be appreciated. The website returns an error code when I try to access the pcc function

You have nothing to worry about. I got the same email and spoke to an immigration lawyer who advised that it's a generic email UKVI send when they are running late processing applications.

Thank you so much after a month and few weeks of waiting I finally got my decision yesterday. So technical issue does not mean that your CoS has issue it's a generic message to buy time from the standard time set by the HO.

Hello elders in the house,

Please kindly advise how it can get a more affordable insurance for a car.

I just got a mercedes clk, the quotes I saw on compare is heartbreaking. They vary from Β£3000 to Β£2000 pounds. How can I get a reduced quote, I am a new driver.

Please kindly advise.

Your "local driver license" as you put it is actually the international driver's license required to drive here in the UK. In Nigeria it is national driver's license, in any other jurisdiction outside Nigeria it is international driver's license. So answer to your question is no. You need the "local driver license".

As a new driver your insurance will naturally be high, adding your choice of car and the general increase in insurance premium, the quote I think is not exactly out of place.

Always get an idea of what your insurance will be before purchase to avoid surprises like this, comparison sites will allow you to post date the purchase of the car.

Guys please when registering on the electoral college, is there any downside of opting out of the open register?

No, it only means your details won't be on the version of the electoral register that is available for purchase.

Check on YouTube best answers to the Insurance questionnaire. E.g starting insurance 29days in the future, parking on a drive/locked garage etc. Might not change much, but it’ll give you the cheapest quote for your car/circumstance. I just did mine and I’m happy with the reduction vs when I started checking quotes. Good luck!
