IQvectors:I refered to a couple of textbooks, which I did use, in my last post. You may try them out. Surely, any textbook can be used in preparing for an exam, so long as it's not encyclopedic. Don't be restricted to a single textbook, since there's a wide variety to choose from. You may find certain subjects more difficult than others. All you've got to do, however, is to get down to some serious study-involving questions and exercises-with them until you get the knack of it. 1 Like |

Concerning the topic of answering CBT questions I was using myschool.ng but found that there is another website called jambprepacademy.com which is even better. The difference is that this one was more focused on JAMB and will predict your JAMB score based on your performance in the exams you have taken. It also saves exams you have taken so you can revisit them later, which myschool does not do (unless I am mistaken) 1 Like 1 Share |

Hi, everyone. Owing to the current situation, school fees increments have become commonplace across tertiary institutions in the country. In light of this, I surmise that scholarship applications, among others, are somewhat nice plans to secure financial buoyancy for a rather smooth academic journey. How practical or feasible do you think resorting to this is? What other ideas have you on the whole of this? Looking foward to your replies. Thanks 1 Like 2 Shares |

Hello everyone! I'm about to graduate from Human Anatomy Uniport. My GPA would be close to first class, about 4.4something, or at worst 4.2 as my project defence will be at the end of this month. 1. If I apply to the same school I graduated from, would it increase my chances of getting admitted? 2. Can I put awaiting results if my certificate is not out by then? 3. What GPA would I need to have to realistically get in? 4. How many people does uniport normally take for DE to Medicine. Like what's the range.... Between what and what? 5. What's the process like? After I apply for DE through JAMB what next? 6. Is there a chance that they can give me another course like Physiology or Pharmacy if I don't get medicine? 7. What about RSU? They just started their medical school. What do you think about applying there? Can I put first and second choice for DE just like JAMB? I'm sorry for asking plenty questions. I really appreciate you for your time. Thank you very much. |

SF123: I hope it is really what you want and your passion? When we say passion. It's something you enjoy doing. That even if you are owed for 3 months as a doctor. You still come to work smiling and not taking out frustration on innocent patients. A footballer will still joyfully accept paycut or be owed and still smile playing football. I hope you do the same as a doctor Team MBBS or nothing still exists in this 21st century . Well-done anyways you try |

SF123:The first advice I'll give you is "Be calm". The workload is much but you can scale through with less stress, ask your senior colleagues how it is done there including the textbooks used. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by TONYE001(m): 9:38pm On Jan 21 |
SF123: Once again, congratulations, doc. I'll advise you follow your senior colleagues closely. They're the best source of guidance...those in Year 2 in your school...meet them and find out how they maneuvred through your current class. Start your work early, and be dedicated. Low times may come, true, but prepare for them and maintain your focus. Be quick to ask questions whenever you're not sure about anything, be humble, very humble, in fact. Review your past questions, if possible, multiple times before your exams. Above all, if you believe in God, hold Him closely. Stay clean, please. Don't get involved in shady businesses. May God perfect everything for you ajdnyoir colleagues. You can send a mail, please. I'll respond once I see it. 4 Likes |
