the term Yoruba even in Ghana when I was there they refer to you guys as anonga or something like that

But be it as it may be

Dahomey warriors was a historical fact

Ijaw, bring your flat head here, let me educate you a little as it's obvious that's what's lacking in your pitiable, slavery life !

Anango,Olukumi or Olucu,Eku,etc are all synonymous with Yoruba people and there is nothing derogatory about any of those names. Anango is an ancient form of Yoruba language spoken in Yoruba land in the past. Olukumi or Olucu means "Ore mi" (my friend),yes,we are called that as well by non Yoruba people in the past. As a matter of fact, the aborigine Yoruba people of Cuba,Brazil (Bahia) and other Americas are still called Olucumi or Lucumi till today. Don't forget as well that there are these same Yoruba Olukumi people in Delta state till today. About "Eku", that's coined out of the way Yoruba people usually greet themselves : E ku Owuro - good morning to you, E ku Osan or Asan - good afternoon to you, E ku Ale - good evening to you ,E ku ise, E ku Ile,E ku onje ,etc ! We are a well cultured people with a very rich and enviable history. Can same be said of your people and where you came from ?! It's a big NO ! Your history is sour, tasteless !

What about Dahomey ?! Are you not aware that Dahomey is same as Benin Republic ?! Do you know how many Yoruba kings reign till today in that country - Oni Popo of Popo, Oni Sabe of Sabe,Alajese of Ajase, etc ? How about Togo ? If Yoruba land extends to Dahomian territories today and there are Yoruba kings ruling over the territories, what does that tell you,Chinedu ? May be I should break it down for you in case your comprehension issue is acting up again ! Yoruba warriors,my great forefathers conquered Dahomian's territories and that's why we still have Yoruba kings ruling over the land till tomorrow!

I told you earlier, even king Tackie Teiko Tsuru 11,the Ga -Adangbe of Accra doesn't hide his Yoruba root. He and his people,Ga people are always proud of their Yoruba heritage. You should be worried about how Igbo were being hunted down by the Ijaws,Binis, Itshekiri,Igalas and sold off as slaves instead of preoccupying your silly self with the Yoruba history !

The Akure–Benin War, which took place in 1818 AD, was a conflict between the Benin Kingdom and the Akure Kingdom in what is now Nigeria. The origins of this conflict can be traced back to the complex history of the region, with Akure being a place of ancient settlements, some dating back to the early Ife kingdom. The Akure Kingdom emerged when these communities were consolidated under the rule of Prince Omoremilekun, who descended from Oduduwa, a revered figure in Yoruba history. Historically, the relationship between Benin and Akure had been marked by peace and mutual respect due to shared cultural heritage and ancestry.

Benin wanted to reclaim the land and make Akure pay tribute, but Akure resisted.[1]

However, this harmony was disrupted when Chief Osague, a Benin emissary, was killed by the Deji of Akure, Arakale. This incident, along with other conflicts and provocations, triggered the Benin invasion of Akure. The invasion involved military manoeuvres, with the Benin army led by top commanders, including Chief Erebo the Ezomo, General Ologbosere the Ologbosere, and the Imaran. They encountered resistance from the Akure army, led by the Deji himself. The Benin army strategically advanced through various routes, eventually capturing Akure after the destruction of the Deji's palace. This victory led to the establishment of Akure as a vassal state under Benin's control.

For the guest and those that are objective they must know that Yoruba territory lost so many lands in the hands of their neighbours and defeated were so much from Benin, Nupe, Fulani , Dahomey Women and Ijaws

All these are historical records and they never got land via conquest they never at all....these are all recorded hence they couldn't make the list ....

But we know that there are keyboard warriors ...this the last post. .it's Monday and it's a working day till next weekend

You hear from me ....attached are the list of defeats....I didn't add Akure war that they lost to Edo people or the Dahomey women defeating Oyo by King Ghezi

Read about how Benin did on Akure

The consequences of the war were profound. For Akure, it marked a defeat, resulting in the loss of independence and submission to Benin's rule. The Deji of Akure had to pledge allegiance to the Oba of Benin, Osemwende, and pay tribute. In contrast, for Benin, the war demonstrated its power and expanded its territorial influence, with the Oba amassing greater wealth through tribute and plunder. The conflict had a lasting impact on the history and culture of both Akure and Benin, commemorated through various means, including oral traditions, festivals, monuments, and art.

Yet the total landmass available to your entire tribe home and away is less than Oyo state. Your ancestors were even chased out of coastal area/ocean mouth, rendering you landlocked.

Half of Igbo land was gotten via conquests from Nsukka to Ebonyi To Aro and southern Igbo land

this is Ohafia war dance to remind people like you of those conquest...for you to know how powerful igbo are...amongst all the tribes mentioned here na only Igbo una face! I AM TOO PROUD TO BE IGBO

According to oral history, the ancestors of Ohafia were renowned to be mighty men of war who were always on the lookout for wars to take part in.[3] The Ohafia warrior tradition which remains one of the fundamental identity of the people of Ohafia is hinged in the performance of ikpirikpi ogu - the practice of beheading a fallen enemy. A human skull is a proof of a man's courage and strength. Only those who brought home a human head could join the Ogbu-Isi society and wear an eagle's plume which is a symbol of courage.

Igbo should be removed from the list , igbo is not on this scale , igbo should be on the bravest race in the world. Igbos fought british empire when it was british empire during the anglo vs aro war.

Igbos fought a combine soviet union, British empire, Egypt, Arab world, niger, Chad, Cameroon, backed military and survived. No other country on the face of the earth aside Israel has defied the world powers and called the bluff of world.

Please remove igbo from that list , igbo is not on that scale
