spot on!
When you expect them to display trademark violence towards kidnappers, like they did during elections. Instead they're using kid's gloves to handle insecurity.

Bunch of hypocrites, like

Do the work first before prayers. Is the president now a bishop running a church?

Prayers is not what is protecting you, this statement is for docile people to believe, give the population the kind of protection you give to yourself, not protecting yourself with the best security and then ask the vulnerable citizens to pray, very unfortunate.

Had it been she knew nairaland would know about this, she would have withdraw her statement and keep quiet. It's obvious nobody has commended her efforts(at least the only thing she can do)in asking Nigerians to keep praying to a God that is perhaps tired of dis country.

Obirodents have turned Nairaland to Wailingland, the same people hailing yes daddy for patronising men of God and churches during the elections. Losers

You move in bulletproof cars plus armed security yet asking Nigerians to intensify prayers. Rubbish talk

They don't talk about prayers when campaigning, but do so when they're in power and can't perform.

What an Irresponsible government.

I expected the first lady to raise a band of committed and dedicated prayer warriors for the success of her husband as a president. They don't want the man to succeed and so she must be on guard and watchful not asking us to pray while sleeping at Aso Rock ..
No good thing comes easy .. life is full of battles. The enemies of Nigeria are those they used our common wealth to sponsor and yet they came back to destroy our unity and peace. May God wipe them off the surface of the earth if they don't repent now in Jesus name

Anybody calling for prayer in the kind of Nigeria situation is a very useless person. Remi Tinubu is a very useless woman. Very very useless

God, who did I offend to become a Nigeria? The guy of Israel that Nigerians pray to, Israel goes to war with their guns and not prayers. The god of Saudi that Muslims pray to, Saudi is well secured with military and tech gadgets, U are here, eating my tax payers money and asking me to pray to god for security. Well, u all are lucky as u have more than half of the population as zombies. If u had my type as citizens making up over 70 percent of the population, una for don get sense by force becus what is this?
Why not remove all the security attached to u and ur husband and pray to God for security then? Thunder fire all of u. Shameless and wicked souls.

Which meaningful solution have you come up with..?? Than to blame and castigate others for your frustrations.?? Is it today that politicians have been looting this country..? Does that warranty you to be senseless , mannerless and foolish in your comments.?? . Tinubu is not my Tribe. I never supported him and will not support him in the coming elections, but insulting person's old enough to be your parents or even older than your parents does not speak well about your personality.

So it's prayers that will resolve the security concerns in Africa's most populous nation? In any nation? Imagine the kinda uneducated, lackadaisical leaders y'all voted for.

Is it today that politicians have been looting this country..? Are we happy about it.? Capital No. But Does that warranty you to be senseless , mannerless and foolish in your comments about leaders.. You can write an open letter to the president and state your grievances there rather come on a faceless forum and be ranting . Tinubu is not my Tribe. It's so shocking, all those comments on the first page, these are people in their 60s and 70s they are talking to like this. Agreed, there is a lot for the government to do, but insulting and being disrespectful to them from morning to night will NOT change a thing and is just not right

You're on the lowest scale of wisdom, do you know that?

If a leader doesn't perform his primary role of leading, he's as useless as anything.

This shithole is collapsing under these same useless leaders and you're here capping.
So you expect me to clap for an old man who should be resting with his grandchildren but instead chose to foist himself on long-suffering Nigerians?

If he doesn't want to receive insults,.he should better start performing or vacate that seat so a more competent person will take over.

Young man, don't get me annoyed this morning

No dey talk nonsense.

When these same leaders called Jonathan's wife a shepopotamus, you guys didn't say anything.

I'll say it again and again, Nigeria's leaders are USELESS! you're peeved that people are insulting your politicians, would anyone insult them if they're performing? Even in the US where the leaders work, some people still insult the leaders but you want us to shut up in a country with the most useless set of leaders.

Let them perform. Is that too much to ask?

Na waa to una.

France President, Emmanuel Macron, was slapped by a man. The man got only 4 months jail term.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/6/10/french-court-gives-man-who-slapped-macron-4-months-in-jail
I'm sure if same happened in Nigeria people like you will be calling for the man's head

If insulting these useless people till make them know the people are angry with them, then let people drown them in insults.

Imagine the president's wife asking people to pray against insecurities while she moves in bullet proof vehicles with armed bodyguards. What nonsense!

In fact, she deserves more than insults

Where in my comment did I imply it's too much asking them to perform?
Of course, I'm aware of the man who slapped Macron, does that make it right? 2 wrongs will never make a right. If insulting them worked, Nigeria should have moved forward by now.
