Unpatriotic?
Do you even know what that word means?
What class are You?
Probably junior high school.

The US president doesn't travel around for fun.
If the POTUS is visiting a country it must be for a reason that needs his attention.
If it doesn't then the Vice would be sent or the Secretary of state.
There is no disrespect in sending a rep.

If you call it unpatriotic then you need to go back and get a queen primer.

You have a lot of Ample Time to waste awaygrin

Sorry, I have to disagree with you on this one.
There's no business that the Sec of State cannot do that the president must be present.
Business and agreements are conducted by low-level civilians.
Biden visiting other countries is basically out of respect and letting them know that they hold them in high regard. Nothing more
What business was he conducting in Israel besides eye service so that the Jews would support his election?
To an extent, the guy is right. They are not holding African countries in high regard and Tinubu should have never met with this idiot anyway. He's only in Nigeria to drum up support for Israel nothing more. They don't give a flying fvck about Nigeria.
let's just be honest with ourselves, he's not in Nigeria for Nigeria's interest, he's there for Israel's and American Western interests.
Tinubu should have told him to see the foreign minister and then told him to go fvck himself.
Biden is losing anyway, he can try all he wants. I and others will never vote for that terrorist supporter again.

Not only that...when the VP came to Africa, she did not visit Nigeria.... the disrespect. The Press conference today...or should I call it class question and answer was limited to 4 questions -- 2 from us and 2 from US media...I have never seen US limit press conference questions in USA to 4, or in Israel...this is a big slap. We move

Blinken has been traveling within the Middle East for the past 3 weeks, I guess Biden should have been doing all that traveling himself according to you?

How is it disrespectful. He sent his secretary of state who was met by our equivalent Minister of Foreign Affairs. Or do you think Blinkens title means he is an office secretary? He then met BAT. There was no state dinner.
Today he is in Lagos with Nigerian business men.

Nothing disrespectful about that.

Heads of state of major economies don't travel out until the ground work has been done on a minister to minister level. The head of state for Germany - the Chancellor was here and he signed off on resumption of a major power deal.

That's how it works.

When there is a major deal or big policy announcement the President of America will be here. Also don't forget America is in an election year.

You are discussing things above your pay grade. Nigeria is the most populous African country. It sure has a lot to offer the US. If not anything, they'd like to build their military base here, which was one of the things GEJ refused them that made them dislike him.

Mr. Blinken went to Nigeria for business, business big enough to have the US president. However, the truth is that Nigeria is now a country of no consequence which the powers that be like to deride while still accessing her gems.

So which Nigerian minister has been to the US to meet with their president as a "groundwork" since Tinubu took office?
Stop fishing for idiots
No US president has visited Africa since Obama and they've had two presidents across the political divide since then so it is surely not a political issue.
The premium placed on Africa by the US which peaked in mid 2000s with AGOA is waning seriously and it's not good for Africa.

I am addressing the issue of disrespect. How many Nigerian presidents have visited Burundi which is in Africa? Does this mean that we disrespect Burundi? How many Nigerian Presidents have visited Algeria? Does it mean that Nigeria has no relationship with Algeria? No . We have a gas pipeline worth billions of $ that will end up there. State visits are not the only way leaders talk. They talk on the sidelines of international conferences, through their ambassadors, ministers and even their leading business men. To say that America is not interested in a country that holds billions of dollars worth of US investments and a nation solely tasked with safeguarding the Gulf of Guinea shipping route is not smart.

If thinking America is evil or Nigeria is irrelevant is what rocks your boat keep sailing. It’s not an argument worth having.

You're just rambling about Burundi, Algeria etc. There are regions of the world and among all the regions, only Africa has not seen the visit of a US president in the last 8 years. You think that's normal? It's not just about Nigeria because I see a you're spinning narrative out of a biting need to defend your politicians in office.
What makes that of Nigeria worse is that US presidents even during military era placed great premium on relationships with Nigeria. After Bush, no US president has visited Nigeria meanwhile AGOA was signed with Nigeria intended as one of its main beneficiaries. You can make different excuses but the fact that you have to make those excuses shows how far we have fallen in the pecking order of importance to the US, the world's leading country.
