Rido007: Dont mind him, It is this little kids coming up with rumor honestly speaking. For benefits of doubt, maybe he should join Canada platform on telegram and see he's only been mischief. Hardly a day more than 10 people won't celebrate and equally post their time line. NOTE The word Timeline entails the date of application submission, biometric, correspondent letter and request for PPA submission all with date's. Because I can see I'm saying he needs fact and I conclude he doesn't understand the words hence trying to explain further. But then if people are been rejected certainly that means what the documents submitted aren't enough and the likes. |

sanima770: I'm so sorry brother, I can now relate why you sound irrational. The main reason for been here is to discourage Agent and do it yourself okay. The reason you got rejected was certainly based on the documents used as such if you do it yourself you won't toy with your application. Can you hear yourself, Agent was telling you maybe badluck certainly you have little or no idea of how Visa application works. From your rejection letter, the VO said you have no home ties and inconsistent stuff,so don't think everyone used Agent. And from how you talk you sound like someone who's not willing to learn but rather believe in ear say's. And because you are denied Visa doesn't mean others will therefore stop spreading lies your agent told you to everyone The percentage of people who do it their self and get Visa are higher than those of agent. Maybe next time you should learn to do it yourself and shun agent as they are all evil. 2 Likes |

Because in your post you also made mention on the cap on student. OJC group is not only for students. You might say majority are study related, not all. And the cap on study visa wont have any effect on visitors visa. They are capping study visa because of the partway to pr, and scam programs by institutions. sanima770: 1 Like |

Madukachase: show me 2 visitor visa not related to student spouse on ojc group ,they are 99% student group .. pls note 8 out of very 10 visitor visa holder from nigeria without travel experience make asylum claim in Canada and you said it will not affect visitor visa decision ..dey play |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Madukachase: 9:57pm On Jan 25 |
My wife applied for visit visa. Am like 80% sure of success. My study visa got approved in under 2 weeks. DIY. Not everybody is single or have no kids. Not everybody lacks proper financial documentation. Not everybody lacks better employment as home ties Not everybody is fixing or manipulating bank statements or landed property. Get some sense. sanima770: 3 Likes |

Ircc have gone back to their former self, slow slow Era's where applications takes 7-8 month before response for visitor visa It is well |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by orjohn24: 1:41am On Jan 26 |
oluayebenz: Let's be logical in our reasoning with facts: Canada is capping student visas due to concerns about pressure on accommodation, health facilities, and job availability. Many Canadian even residents are complaining, and it seems unlikely that the issuance of visitor visas will continue in large numbers. This is especially true considering the majority of arrivals are claiming asylum. Some provincial governments have already expressed concerns about the costs incurred in housing asylum seekers, turning it into a political issue.and many here think the liberal want to lose election due to immigration as the conservative are already blaming the govt for the problems ..l guess many people here do not know the politics of the west..the approval rate will drop drastically this year! |

You can use the asylum as something to support your claim. But not accommodation, health facilities, and job availability, because visitors visa holders does not benefit from any of that. Regardless if you have a strong profile getting a visit visa is still very easy. For example: Older people are less likely to seek asylum. We have seen parents visit visa getting approved in weeks. Married people with kids and responsibilities are less likely to seek asylum. People with good and real verifiable employment are less likely to seek asylum. People with Business and properties worth millions are less likely to seek asylum. * When you are desperate to leave your country ircc will know. You will start submitting unnecessary documents, start drawing your family tree. Lol. Merging suspicious bank statements with unexplainable lump sum. Imagine you claim you earn 400k per month and you submitted bank statements of 6 month with no monthly deposit of 400k from a company. These ppl are not fool. * How many rich ppl do you see that pray for visa miracle? ALL YOU NEED ARE GOOD DOCUMENTS AND PROFILE. not Miracle or luck. orjohn24: 1 Like |

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Eriokanmi: 7:59am On Jan 26 |
Dansakimotors:You can apply from any part of the world if you're doing so online, so long as you have all your scanned documents handy and you pick Nigeria as your country of residence and citizenship. You can even apply while in your village on top of a mango tree, just anywhere. Nigeria is your country of residence and not USA. You're only a visitor there with the hope of returning home. Likewise, Nigeria is where you have ties, not USA. When applying for a visa, we should be asking ourselves...if I were a VO, would I approve a visa application, based on my claims and the documents I'm submitting? If only we could be asking ourself this, most applicants won't end up being denied visa. But out of desperation, most applicants' expectations and hopes get dashed. If you were asked of country of residence on that IMM form, I'm sure you won't make mistakes of making any reference to America in which you're holding a B1/B2 visa. There's a limit to what you can do with that visa class. Please don't abuse it. |

orjohn24:After the back and forth here, I went to read on the statics of the number of people who claimed asylum in 2023 and Iβm forced to agree that approvals will drop especially for those without travel history and or first timers, the statistics were scary and peaked by the month. It was mostly sought by air travelers. If they can implement the safe third country agreement and their Supreme Court gave a backing(in this case itβs for those trying to enter from the USA o, theyβre not the ones issuing the visa and itβs affecting them like this) For reference please view the below. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/refugees/asylum-claims/asylum-claims-2023.html |

In addition to this, Samina had a point but he is throwing anger tantrum because of his refusal. Just because he was refused doesn't mean others would be refused. Visa issuance is all about grace. If his friends could receive, others could receive too. Sincerely, OJC is strictly DIY study route or DIY PR route, and 99.9% of visa approval are students and not visit on the group. Even the student visa route isn't 100% guaranteed. Applicants still share their sad news of refusal and GCMS. I know some people that applied for study visa upto 3 times this year alone before they finally got PPR. I guessed they have the resources available that made them keep re-firing. Truth be told, we are now very aware that Canada has now been slow with their timeline process as the number of days keep increasing. Nigerians are now applying for asylum oo. It is only 1 guy that I know out of many people that came in through visit visa that hasn't applied for asylum because he trust God for a miracle. He said he can't compromise his faith to lie and deny his God's commandment because of earthly things when God has better things for him in heaven at the end of his life on earth(base on the reasons people apply for asylum to him is distasteful). I felt sad when someone we both know has gone to apply for asylum barely few days of arrival and this person is doing farely well in Nigeria. In fact, Nigerians apply for asylum right from airport once stamped in. Why would people who has 5 years or more multiple entry visa apply for asylum? It's a different case if it were to be single entry. The reason is this: many of them have blown their trumpet to colleagues, friends, relatives, community members, e.t.c. that they are now "RELOCATING" to Canada. Imagine saying you are relocating to Canada on a VISIT VISA, when you don't know what will await you. It's a different case if you are going via study, work or pr route. Some even sold their properties to buy air ticket and use the rest as pocket money. So the shame of people seeing them back home after shouting their ((relocation)) wouldn't let them go back again. Some don't even have any properties to depend on when they return because they have sold all. This is what I do tell people. Don't sell your house or landed properties because of VISIT VISA. It's a terrible risk. Houses and land appreciate speedily in Nigeria. Don't force your family members or carjole them to sell your parents house or land because of VISIT VISA. Imagine selling your house for 30M because of visit visa. How many years would you work as a visitor for you to gain back your 30M. Funny enough, this money should be joint ownership for some family, and because you carjoled them, they gave you a larger % out of love with the hope of seeking greener pasture, but they never knew you gamble with their own share of inheritance. I do advise people, if you got a visit visa and you have a stable job, try and look for a way (if it is possible) to ensure you secure it for about 3-4 months (even if it is without pay). Lias with your boss, if possible. If you have your own functional business, don't close it down. Keep it running if possible. Set CCTV everywhere and keep a trustworthy person there. Let them know there's camera watching them everywhere. You can monitor anything from your phone now. Then use the 3-4 months you are in Canada to spy. Use it to make connection if possible, and pray to God for divine connection. You have many years of multiple entry visa at your disposal if the first time didn't work out. But the problem with our people is IMPATIENCE. They can't wait for beans to be done, yet they want to eat beans. I wish everyone waiting for ppr a successful approval in Jesus name. orjohn24: 13 Likes |
