When will we guy learn to be smart?how can u send money to an unconfirmed person u meet online all in d name of helping u for a job?I immediately saw him as a scammer when he began to ask me to get an "M2 FORM" from any cybercafé.we should learn to be smart and know dat anyone dat request for money first to help u with a job is a cheap scammer

I laugh in French. I made a post that I needed to buy Fiverr account and he asked me to chat him up on WhatsApp. I sent him a message and went offline. Within a few minutes, he started calling my line and reprimanded me for not staying online to respond to his messages.

I challenged him that I have a life outside WhatsApp and he didn't expect me to stay online 247. He claimed he had a level two account and was giving it away for 10K. Immediately, I deduced he was a scammer as no one would sell a Fiverr level 2 account that cheap.

When I told him to paste his profile link, he hit the roof and told me I wasn't serious, and I just wasted his time. That was the final proof I needed to conclude he was a scammer. I riled him up again when I told him if we must deal, it must be via escrow. He stopped responding to my messages because he realized I wasn't an easy nut to crack.

Dude, sorry but you lost guard. What was the deal you had and how much? If you go through his profile, you would see that he just registered around November/December 2023, and was always posting about making 10K everyday from an investment or task. Why would you trust someone like that with your money?

he connect me with a fake friend, which told me to buy scratch card for 3 forms which I did pay to d guy which I pay more than 4.5k and I topped it when e said I didn't try to add small change on it , I send him d last 1.5k I have to him, bank collected charges here and there..

Too bad! Next time, before dealing with anyone on Nairaland, check his/her profile. Insist on using escrow always. A non scammer can never say no to escrow.

he commented on the fire service thread and put his Whatsapp number that he can help with job which I mistakely contacted him and from there u can see my post earlier on when we talked and he gave me account number to send him money for form to purchase which I send without knowing d guy was a scammer, I sent 6k to him to have a form send to his fake friend too which goes by a name Mr Phillips who told me to buy the 3 forms which I did mistakely.. I will Neva fall for this scam ever again , I will ask for escrow if you don't have I see you are one of d scam or check your nairaland profile..
