Ivory coast doesn't deserve the victory because their group stage performance was scandalous, that's the flaw of the best loser system..

Two they will be using the host mentality to play from here on... Like this game now aside from their high press, senegal was actually better on the ball and played with more assurance, civ was just more motivated and the players frequently raised their hands to the fans urging them for more support..

They held possession for most of the game, yet they could only equalize with a penalty. If they should meet Nigeria yet again, their only hope of winning will be taking the game to penalty.
