I just got relieved from work. I'm out of my mind right now. Where do I go from here?

I've been working with this company for 10 years as a lift operator. At some point I learnt how to clear fatal and reset the lifts if they got faulty. I can even drive on inspection or reservation. All the while I worked there, I spent almost all I earned financing my family. I, to 80% saw my immediate younger brother and sister through school through my earnings. The only savings I have is less than 16k. That's probably what I will survive on pending when I get a new job.

It's absolutely frustrating. I wish I saved for the rainy day. But how could i have possibly saved when I earned less than a 100k with so much to take care of?

I don't know if I should say I'm lucky to not be married, but we live in an era where the difference hardly shows. It's terribly depressing to say the least.

No be say food no dey, no be say a no get money to manage for now BUT THE FEAR OF UNKNOWN is what I am battling with as I am quiting my job by this month ending..

With your experience, I'd say there should be a vacant position in any of the companies out there that need your service, don't relent since you have nowhere to turn to. Patronize those companies you know that may likely need you.

Don't end anything o. Keep an open mind and turn to God for help.

You have a decade worth of experience which many of us cannot boast. That counts for something. There is definitely something for you out there.

If you are not shy and are humble, I believe there are things you can do around that could at least put food on your table for the meantime. With food out of the question, the burden is less.

May God help us we married men. I got a lot of challenges. A civil engineering graduate working for 30k monthly spending over 50% on transportation. Depressed and tired of everything. I'm quitting the job tomorrow being the last day of the month. I just want to start afresh to know my bearing coz I've lost direction.
