It's funny how even till now, people see Buhari as a hero and GEJ as a villain. Nigerians as a whole gave me a reason not to take interest in anything politics. It's funny how even till now, people see Buhari as a hero and GEJ as a villain. Tallesty1:You will have more naira with lower purchasing power if you sell at 1300. You will have fewer naira with higher purchasing power if you sell at 600. Consequently, you are not getting richer, you’re just unaffected by its economical permutations and implications. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Yes he foresaw it. But what did he and Emefiele do when faced with recession, COVID-19 and dwindling revenues? They went and printed 25 trillion naira under the guise of quantitative easing with the bulk of the money ending up in the pockets of their cronies in government who in turn are now using same fiat paper naira to buy up foreign currencies thus causing the current forex volatility. This is not to mention the financial crimes committed under the CBN "ways and means" policy, humongous year after year deficit budgeting and the massive foreign and domestic borrowings in foreign currencies and naira. Consequently, by the end of Buhari's tenure, the FG was using 96% of its revenues to service debt (according to AfDB and DMO). So, whatever he foresaw was of no impact at the end of the day. |

I still believe all this hardship is caused by Buhari. That w*cked man removed subsidy and allowed his family to embezzled public fund under his watch. Buhari still remains the most w*cked president we ever had. 1 Like |

"May we not have a Nigeria that we will sincerely miss Buhari" - Comic actor, Okon of Lagos How I wish that right now, I am in a position where I could sit back and be laughing at the Agbadorians and telling them, "I told you so, didn't I?" But it is not even funny to me at all in any way. casualobserver: Stop shouting, i wasn't shouting. Its children and women that shouts while talking, if you are a woman, my apologies. You can shout as you want. Well for you to think its only on Dollar stability that GEJ performed better than PMB shows you are extremely naive of his tenure, or that you are deliberately biased. Who performed better in Economy? Do you even know the essence of economy in a country? You are using the analogy of parents giving their kids education, instead of Christmas clothes. Almajiri education program, who established it? Who Established 14 new federal Universities across the country? What do you know about legacy? Between GEJ and PMB who performed better in Education Sector? GEJ. On Security? GEJ performed better. It was under the watch of Buhari that Yorubas for the first time went to Benin Republic as IDP. Who knew about Bandits untill Buhari became president? Buhari only borrowed more than what no president has ever borrowed. How about the Nigerian airline he sipohned the money and brought a camouflage aircraft from Ethiopia? You don't know politics, you are just biased. 6 Likes 1 Share |

abhosts:Dollar was never 220/1 during GEJ. Although I follow castigate him but know I know better. Pounds was 245/250 all through his regime so dollar can't be 220. Naira then was around 150/180 per dollar. |

rayopt:This is the same line you guys use in deceiving people, making people to think its because they are "consuming or buying international products" hence why the Naira is falling flatly daily, Please, without feeling insulted, list like 10 or 15 items that's being consumed by majority of Nigerians that could have such bad daily effect on the Naira. |

Under Jonathan a barrel of crude oil was around 90 dollars at 2,300 barrels per day, under Buhari it was around 50 dollars per barrel at 1300 barrel per day,do the calculation yourself. So, you people should know that the more crude sold, the stronger the naira. |
