Paraman:You guys must look for a way to justify every nonsense. Nigeria claimed to do crude oil swap because we don't have a functional refinery. Now the same Nigeria has a functional refinery but they no longer have crude...lol. Are we not back to the same point? We were importing refined products before but now we will start importing crude oil...We are bunch of idiots in this country called Nigeria even the intelligent ones are dunce 21 Likes 2 Shares |

and how will this now reduce the price of petroleum produced or reduce the pressure on the scarse dollars, as was tauted by the proponents of this administration, or is dangote not buying with dollars. it is Reno that seems to have lost his sense. |
Re: Reno Omokri: Why Dangote Refinery Is Buying Crude Oil From The US by richeso: 3:36am On Jan 31 |
Stop all that nonsense reno. We know the truth. Dangote crude is right there in lagos. Lagos also have oil in some parts. That'd what they are taking. and since the refinery is a private company all the funds goes to the investors and owners and people involved. The NNPC is just for South South oil.. na Nigeri delta oil dey feed Nigeria. The one from lagos state and one other northern state goes to them them. You know. This is the truth!. That's why 9ja no fit restructure. 3 Likes 1 Share |

FiftyFifty:A country without refinery was swapping crude oil to import refined products due to non functional refineries....The country finally managed to have a functional refinery and suddenly same country no longer have crude oil to swap...lol rather supply to the functional refinery. They are planning to import crude oil to supply this functional refinery. The story is the same for all sectors. Power generation 4000 to 5000 year in year out. It begs the question why should Nigerian leaders choose to sabotage the country? 10 Likes |

LibertyRep: Don’t you know we are still slave to the British? They control the oil in Nigeria with the help of the northerners. You think a white man will handover such minerals resources in Nigeria to a black man without wanting anything to do with it in the future? ILoveNG:you guys must be really insensitive, every concerned Nigerian were asking the same question, those questioning the decision to buy crude outside were not exclusively Igbos, I am from Edo state and I asked the same question, if you don't see anything wrong with a miserable Fool at 50 trying to gaslighting and blame everything on a particular tribe then you are just as miserable, secondly the claim that Nigeria's crude oil has been contracted into the future as an excuse cannot be accepted because the dangote refinery was planned years ago, and dangote and the nnpc should have also made plans before time for the refinery, the reason provided by Reno does not make sense. 17 Likes 3 Shares |

Nauttyprof:the way you guys make it look like the dangote refinery just came up accidentally it has been decided years ago that it would start operation this year the NNpc and dangote should have finalized crude oil deals years prior, this argument does not sound logical or maybe it is half truth, or lack of foresight by both parties. 7 Likes |

FiftyFifty:Una dey overrate yourselves. Nigeria is not the 6th largest producer. We are around number 14 to 15 with our meagre 1.35 mpd. Dangote refinery alone can consume half of Nigeria's production per day. 1 Like 1 Share

Nauttyprof: OPEC quota only try to limit production so as to control global pricing. OPEC does not control who you supply or sell to once produced and Nigeria can cut her OPEC quota down anytime she wants and that would gladden OPEC because it will increase global price and benefit OPEC. Nigeria can also increase her production above OPEC quota if she so desire. 6 Likes |

FiftyFifty: No. Its not about bunkering. It's about the number of active rigs. The rig is the point of crude oil extraction. And is a measure of prior/ current investment activity in the market. NGRig count was 35 in 2018 and is now 16. Although it has risen marginally by 4 over the last 2 years. The industry needs about $50bn in investment to get to a decent rig count. |

Contradiction everywhere. Nigerians where seeking for a way to solve their problems but the closer they get to the goal post, the farther they push the post. The kind shege we go see eh.. na same marketers that hurd those products every year that distribute dangote products to Nigerians. We never see anything. 2 Likes |

I still don't know why some people are crying self. You claimed dangote is stealing oil from naija delta like he won't be paying for it. Now he wants to buy from somewhere else also, you are still crying. Should dangote leave his billions of dollars investment to rot because he couldn't get raw materials locally? 3 Likes 1 Share |

You underestimated the power of corn in his back pocket! Nigeria has no crude oil to sell, because Buhari already used it as loan well into the future to access loan for his Niger Daura railway! And off course those with corn in their back pocket cheered then! Dangote, alone will make sure Naira never recovers! As me why? To buy crude, he needs dollars. When he sell the refined crude, he gets Naira! So, Nigeria should be prepared to give him at least a monthly exchange of more than $4 billion dollars! Naira is going to 2500ngn to a dollar...... jmoore: 1 Like |

Highways:very good question... The stupid reno should ask himself why a country with huge untapped oil reserves cannot provide crude in country for the dangote refinery for which the NNPC has a stake in. I am Worried that Reno isn't ashamed of the reproach this brings upon us as a nation and as a people, rather the old fool is out there defending this rubbish.. 2 Likes |
