During the 2023 elections campaigns one of the videos of Tinubu trended in which his hands were terribly shaking and people made a joke out of it that " If he uses those hands to handle this Nigerian economy ehn.... " Today it's no longer a joke but reality 🤦♂️ 8 Likes |

It actually is still the right decision. We dont even have the reserve to continue to defend the naira. They should do total float and make fx transactions cashless. With the new circulars released by CBN the past few days, it seems Cardoso head is moving in the right direction. 1 Like |

DissTroy:Hahahaha I didn't want to sound more gloomy trust me. I actually projected 2k based on how it was explained to me. Nigerians that voted Tinubu on the back of tribe and religion will really smell their yansh. Especially the ones with dependents. If your money no long o ma sunkun peregede I feel somewhat bad for the ones that genuinely thought he had something to offer though they should have known much better I will advice anyone still running Dom account. if you can to move your $ to USDT before APC and their agents of poverty begin chook eye inside. They've already sent their evil horsemen to test the ground and see public response to such suggestions 5 Likes 1 Share |

PDPGuy: That means the price of the ticket has gone up na. I flew Air France business return to Lagos twice in 2022 for less than 2k pounds each time I'm not sure your figures are correct unless the person is trying to maybe book a flight tomorrow. 1 Like |

Taguchi: Check CBN handle on Twitter. Quick summary. Banks are mandated to immediate close all their long on fx which are currently held by them. Banks are also mandated not to keep more than 20% of any forex inflow at the close of each business. They are also mandated to submit a daily report of all fx transactions. The other one is CBN has removed the cap on allowable limit on exchange rate quoted by International Money Transfer Operator. It basically means Western Union, Moneygram, worldremit and the likes can now quote their own rate without interference from the CBN. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bombblacks: This is big for F1. I think Hamilton still has a lot to give the sport, he had been giving clues of unhappiness with Mercedes. Leclerc had a great 2023 and competed well against Verstappen but that guy is a hot head and extremely competitive even amongst team mates, ask S. Vettel. Would Leclerc allow Hamilton be the face and number 1 driver? The success of this may depend on how Ferrari manages both drivers. At 35, this is Hamilton’s last shot, is he still motivated? We shall see. |

“Even if my ward is working in CBN, is she the only person that is going to be transferred to Lagos? There are hundreds of people that they planned to move to Lagos. Whenever an issue like this crops up, instead of addressing the issue, the people and some of the reporters will now concentrate on the messenger, not the message,” he said. https://www.nairaland.com/7988357/ndume-daughter-works-cbn-spoke When Ndume was hyperventilating on the CBN relocation issue, I knew his lamentation was not from a place of logic. So he's only complaining cos his daughter who works with CBN will be relocating to Lagos and he's not happy about that. Smh. Shame on other educated northerners who let themselves to be gaslighted by selfish politicians like Ndume who have their wards tucked in elite government agencies like CBN, FIRS, NNPC, FAAN etc while they continue to defend them online. I just knew it made no sense for me wey no get any vested interest in what goes on in CBN to be fighting them for relocating their staff to Lagos where they will be provided with relocation and inconvenience allowance. Word on the street is that most of these elite children who are staff of CBN have other businesses they operate in Abuja and the relocation to Lagos will distort their plan of running those businesses side by side with the CBN job where they earn millions . |
