It's very irresponsible of a govt for workers' salary to be delayed; federal civil workers for that matter. Latest by 25th of every month all workers are supposed to have received their salaries. They should go and learn from Seyi Makinde of Oyo state how he's doing it.

January salary is not one that should be delayed in the first place. This is a good news though but as good as this sound, some won’t like it.

Those that will not like it, at least they are federal workers. U wey no get work dey talk

So before U pay them their salaries, U must announce it, this always happens all the time in Nigeria, I have never heard UK or USA announce before they pay their worker salary

Workers to be paid and some people on here are shouting good news.

So after i drive trailer for my company from London to Calais, from Calais to Germany and deliver the goods in my tralier, sleeps in a very nice hotel (paid for by my company) with a Russian prostitute. I drive back to London through Calais before i arrive my company has already paid me even with thank you Mr Kings. But in Naigeeria it is like an achievement by government paying workers for the jobs they did? Do they not know that it is illegal not to pay for services provided at the time the services was provided? And people are rejoicing that they d get paid? As if it is free money? Jeeez! I feel sorry for these workers in Naigeeria.

Peanut salary, that is almost worthless, I really don't know how civil servants survive in this country with the low wages and this hyper inflation.

This is exactly the same thing tinubu did when he was governor of lagos state. Civil servants salaries were delayed for a month that they swore to get him out by second term only for funsho Williams to be murdered.

Delaying of salary is one of the factors that encourage high level of corruption in the country generally.
