I have never really made a comment about Zaidu but after that last minute nonsense he played I can see why people want him benched.

Iwobi is getting more freedom than usual. I love it. Naysayers continue to dey talk down on this guy that sees from afar and weighs precise passes. Kontunu o. Most intelligent midfielder we have. Remove him and na only press go dey our game, no end product

Northern style of football. Run with the ball and shoot. Ahmed Musa, Tijani Babangida, Garba Lawal etc.

I dont think we need a back 3. Remove Zaidu and bring in a Yusuf, move Bassey to that wing. Zaidu is horrible offensively.

Iwobi was actually better in this first half than any match he has played for Nigeria. But I need him to be more quicker and aggressive

The guy na Otu. It's either his crosses are blocked or he fluffs it. I don't know what his problem is

Remove zaidu??

It seems like his attacking shortcomings has made you forget that he’s an excellent and competent defender

Iwobi was better on this half but he also need to be in a bit of haste. He seems a bit sluggish

Zaidu Sanusi goofed in the last offensive play of the first half. His decision making which is his biggest bane offensively came to the fore again. Yes, but he remains key to why this formation stays solid and seemingly unbeatable.

Simon's fantastic run and burst of pace away from his Angolan marker wouldn't happen if Zaidu didn't time his pass perfectly into Simon's path before Simon did the rest in tandem with Osimhen's run into the box drawing 2 Defenders thereby allowing Lookman all that space to shoot and score.

Credits to all the players mentioned in this post. They all played key parts in our first goal today.

We will score more. Like 1 or 2 more. Osimhen is scoring today. I expect it.
