NFF Should be looking at the side of this Angola coach , he is one of the best i have seen in this tournament .gave his best , even brought the best from unknown names ...JPES is clueless ... what we are enjoying now is the individual brilliance of our players ...

That’s the point. Angola were growing into the game from those changes they made. Granted we have the players to still kill the game. But we needed to switch things tactically earlier. Joes played the usual script regardless. Reeks of cluelessness. Different situations calls for different reactions

Marjoribanks:
This is a quarter final match!

I believe Chukweze and Osayi should have been on early for Simon and Lookman.

You must not run your best players aground!!

The coach subs is too late for my liking!

Exactly, that's why Iheanacho or Moffi dey chop bench, even oshimen's play has a defensive tactic too.

That's the coach's up, na you don talk say anybody wey wan see tiki-taka should off his TV, this coach no get time for that show
u sabi ball

The man no Dey bring in onuachu to score or create anything but to get fouls and to hold up play

Moffi and Nacho aren’t that kinda players

If the team is losing and needs more threat upfront definently he will bring in iheanacho

Some pple here just too like to complain for nothing 🤣🤣

We don win. Players don tire. You no know how weather hot for here. You dey yanki dey collect natural a/c. Abeg make you rest. grin

I hoped we will blow them away but we didn't. We sha win.

This thing that looks easy on the eye is really hard. We should be tempered in our criticisms. We never gave the man a chance. We never gave the team a chance but now we are in the semi.

I like good football. But I want the Afcon trophy more abeg

Chukweze!? In this kind of game we are defending? I don't think it's a good idea. Osayi is better in this kind of situation.
at all, Osayi would hv been subbed in but it was reported earlier today that he is injured

we must wrap up our next game before the 60th minute, these guys are exhausted

The guys are exhausted because Peseiro wants to play them into the ground.

Yusuf today was excellent. He should be coming on much earlier.

The reason we sat so deep in the second half was because Angola brought on fresh legs to win the ball and retain it. We couldn't press anymore because of exhaustion, and Peseiro is not seeing that. We had two players stretchered off because of fatigue disguised as pseudo injuries.

We keep getting lucky because the teams we play cannot mount sustained pressure in the attacking third later on in games. Once we play a team that can, or we fail to score first, we will struggle.

Just a genuinely horrible coach. A labour watching his team.
A coach with Moffi, Iheanacho, etc, should have more use for them than just waste timers.
i don't rate JPES

Angola switched to 334 to overload our wing backs. There is no better formation to deal with that. He should have just added some pace off front to kill the game off on counter. Nevertheless, we should have actually killed the game with those chances we created!

We will probably keep shithousing our way to win games like this.

It is not sustainable though, and if it fails, the team will look like farmers.

Make una cool down with all these complains abeg, this is a quarter final match and you can never roll over any team like that.

if it was 3-0 am sure these complaints would have reduced, haba wetin. una, think those Angola strikers no good? They will surely have their chances in the game but our response is what matters and that's what makes a good team.

This team is good. They are cruising

We indeed blew dem away but final balls in the box and not being prolific in the box hindered us.

However, a win is a win. Nobody go remember your tiki taka. Na who carry cup dem go remember. grin

Make we dey win like this until the we carry cup. Opari. grin

But it is true. If Moses Simon was a little less pacy, or Lookman isn't an amazing ball striker, we probably would be talking extra time, cos God knows we weren't scoring again in that game with those terrorism tactics.

Given our quality, we could have played much better and won much more comfortably than we did. The last 15 minutes were living on the edge.
