But it is true. If Moses Simon was a little less pacy, or Lookman isn't an amazing ball striker, we probably would be talking extra time, cos God knows we weren't scoring again in that game with those terrorism tactics.
Those are those silly IFs you guys bring up. WTH!

Well unfortunately for you Moses is pacy and Lookman is an amazing ball striker!

And what do you mean terrorism tactics? Make una step up with una match analysis abeg

What I feared may happen unless Peseiro disagrees to sign a new contract. I hope we go for someone who can build from where Jpes stopped, and not start all over.

Well for now, let’s focus on the two remaining matches, though I always have my mind set on the highest prize — the World Cup of course

It is not sustainable. That is the issue.

Once we meet a team that can hold sustained pressure in our attacking third towards the end of games, or we fail to score first in a game, we will struggle.

Make una cool down with all these complains abeg, this is a quarter final match and you can never roll over any team like that.

if it was 3-0 am sure these complaints would have reduced, haba wetin. una, think those Angola strikers no good? They will surely have their chances in the game but our response is what matters and that's what makes a good team.

This team is good. They are cruising
na the biggest issue many of our fans hv

They want sexy and champagne football always and expects the team to come all out to play any opponent even if we are playing against the likes of France,Germany,England,Argentina etc

This Nigerian team to the afcon is sound tactically with good number of talented players that made the coach’s idea to be working so far

How will you expecting the team to come all out to play when they hv a slim win going in their favor? Angola that threw everything they had attack wise did they manage to score?

This super eagles team is very compact right from the attack to defense. A team u can boastfully predict that they won concede in a game

No be every time dem dey play sexy and penetrative football(in amokachi’s voice) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Anyway, we move. Now I can relax and watch his Guinea match. Make I study them wella.

BTW anybody hear from Thegoodjoe? Could it be because we're not playing tikitaka na why Prof no wan show up grin grin grin

Actually, you are right. Glad we are winning but it is not sweeting me because of no Tiki taka.

Given our quality, we could have played much better and won much more comfortably than we did. The last 15 minutes were living on the edge.
Yes, focus on the 15 and forget the 75

Ridiculous.

One brother in the viewing centre I was was advocating for Iwobi to be taken off for Chukwueze.

Hope you people saw what happened to the midfield when he was taken off.

Funny people.

Keep looking to the future and miss the moment.

Same elusive "if we meet a team" "if we fail to score first"

Ridiculous.

If you sit that deep against quality players consistently, you are playing Russian roulette, it is only a matter of time.

If that ball they hit the bar with went in, how would we respond? Osimhen was already gassed, Peseiro will bring Onuachu on to score two?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by yinkeys(m): 8:48pm On Feb 02
Coach Peseiro is not rotating these players properly & may cost us the finals

Osimhen is drained , didn’t do much in 2nd half
He hasn’t recovered fully from the Cameroon game where he gave 110%

The coach probably has beef with Moffi & Iheanacho

Semi Ajayi made a big mistake in the game by not tracking that Angolan, the crossbar saved us
Offside trap didn’t work at that point
Players should go for the ball sometimes instead of waiting for the ref to call it as off because a slight mistake could lead to a goal

Can they press like Osimhen? Defend like Osimhen? Pass like Osimhen? Draw players away like Osimhen?

My brother, we dey press from opponent defense.

I don’t know what to think. We have been wasting chances from match 1. The buck stop at the coach’s table because he has a bench. If we are still asking the question bench who for who, then we have a problem.

Yea... the first Nigerian goalkeeper to keep four consecutive clean sheets in a tournament in 30 years or so. Best Ogedegbe was the last to do so.

na so Greece win Euro cup for 2004, dem just dey win 1-0 dey go. Portugal explain tire, no evidence

The love for OSIMHEN is massive.
When he scored that goal that was disallowed.

Someone just said Victor, the crowd responded with OSIMHEN!!! for about 2 minutes.
