If you sit that deep against quality players consistently, you are playing Russian roulette, it is only a matter of time.

If that ball they hit the bar with went in, how would we respond? Osimhen was already gassed, Peseiro will bring Onuachu on to score two?
Emotion has shortened your memory to remember that that woodwork miss was within the first 15mins of the 2nd half.
You'd keep mixing things because all you want to do is just point fingers. Rest first, let the adrenaline leave your body.

Ekong deserves to lift that trophy as the Super Eagles captain.

Please, whatever happens, if we do win that trophy, they should make sure he's the one doing the lifting. He has done a madness in defence in this tournament, a true rock of Gibraltar.

Oga he's right.

No one is saying he's bad

Iwobi is sluggish his work rate in the middle is obviously overworking Onyeka. He's a midfielder midfielder na

I disagree

I don’t know what to think. We have been wasting chances from match 1. The bulk stop at the coach’s table because he has a bench. If we are still asking the question bench who for who, then we have a problem.

the coach can't borrow his legs to the boys to score na, see the wasted chance by Zaidu in the first half. It would have ended 2-0 in the first half. The same position Oshimen gave Lukman to score against Cameroon. can we blame the coach for that haba.

We are becoming too critical of the coach, we should criticize the players more for blowing chances, we should have sealed the game more in the early part of the second half when the Angolans were clueless. How good is our bench sef, are we so sure of those boys on the bench? This Afcon rugged o

No be lie say all the 'good' coaches don go house.

But if we are to be realistic, the coach needs to step up tactically.

If no be for freedom of speech, that guy no mind to use one team for all the games without any substitution.

Again, defense wins championships but If we are going to start dropping deep to defend, then we need fresh legs.

At the 65/70 min I’d have liked to see another midfielder introduced. Move from 3-4-2-1 to 3-5-2. Choke the midfield and hold ball.

Yusuf needed to come in earlier. I think Onyedika was needed as well.

But we also need to take our chances better than we did.

Anyway, good one from the boys. Hope they rest well for the SFs they’ll need it.

All our defenders turned up
But Ekong has been head and shoulders above them all defensively atleast

And to think JPes almost never used him till this AFCON is really astounding

Zito Luvumbo is not unknown.

lexyman:
NFF Should be looking at the side of this Angola coach , he is one of the best i have seen in this tournament .gave his best , even brought the best from unknown names ...JPES is clueless ... what we are enjoying now is the individual brilliance of our players ...

Zaidu when don dey fumble since. Na him dey force himself to start match.

Osimhen suppose don chop bench small though his name is written in most of our goals. Doesn’t mean Moffi, Iheanacho cannot do a thing. Maybe Osimhen needs a little reset.

Iwobi cannot really interpret the defensive part of the game.

We can afford to play a 433 if we meet SA in the semis

Last Afcon Simon Moses was our best player, losing to Tunisia was what make most of us to rubbish the team that got 9 points in the group stage.
That's not true bro. If he actually had no end product he wouldn't be so highly rated in that tournament.

If we went far I'm sure you wouldn't be implying this.
