essentialone: If you are a trader, you have accumulated paper loss. If you are an investor, nothing is lost. Trading is a sprint, investing is a marathon. Now, you begin the averaging down marathon. You have done well by investing in Transcorp. Transcorp is destined for NGN 1T by 3rd or 4th Q 2024. @N26, we are in NGX SWOOT class. In the next few days, the N19.00 mark would be Exceeded. People are using the eyes of yesterday and technical chart of discouragement to price Transcorp. Wait patiently as Mr Transcorp deliver and reward all patient investors. You will smile soon, you are already on board the train of PROSPERITY. The last person I advised in July 2023, bought at average price NG3.45, managed to acquire 2M+ units at total cost of about 7m. He is not regretting anything today. This government and Tony Elumelu would rise and sink together. By 2025/26, Transcorp will begin the journey to N2T. The PE mistake or error that Otedola saw which made him vow to take Transcorp to N2T market cap in few years if he had been allowed to execute the corporate takeover is now known to TE and other investors. Believe it or not, Tony is taking Transcorp to IT in 2024. Mind you, there would be volatility throughout the journey, sell off, profit taken, bad news, good news, technical and fundamental flaws, volatile quarters, stick to the N2T objective. You will soon be ahead of people that will struggle to get Transcorp at N30.00. The code of the game 🎮 👌 is patient 🙏. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Locotrader: Na wa oooh! Nigeria don really cast! I had my first full time job at 16 immediately after high school in the same Nigeria. Prior to that I did lots of odd jobs while in high school. Jobs like car wash, to block carrying and several others in the same Nigeria! Now this bros is saying someone at 25 is a dependent hahahahahaha. Nigeria is really finished with this kind of mindset. 5 Likes |

It is NOT a fraud! All necessary information is available and may I remind you that dividend is literally the distribution of earnings. Now a PUBLIC company that is folding up will no longer be in business. This simply means that ALL the available funds (cash, sale of assets etc) will be distributed to SHAREHOLDERS (owners of he company). It's accounting naa. No be fight... Streetinvestor2: 1 Like |

sky2891: OANDO is a member of ***value trapped stocks*** listed on NGX. A potential member of future SWOOT. ***A gambling stock for self investors*** The true revenue of OANDO is known to only Wale Tinubu et al. They are very mean individuals that sent no minority investors to invest in OANDO. They slapped us multiple times without any cogent reason. Wale Tinubu is a god in his own world. A man that failed to release financial statements for good 3 to 4 years. 2020 to 2022 financial statements was released in 2023. The hidden potential in OANDO is known to so many members here. OANDO was taken to court by SEC, he used his political weight to thwart the case. Wale is OANDO, and OANDO is Wale Tinubu. If Wale et al that have never been accountable to anyone could declared total revenue of N801B for 2022/23, then your guess is as good as mine. Moderate outstanding shares of 12.43B, I personally had 300K units purchased at average price of N6, sold 100k unit at peak price of N12+ in early December 2023f or rebalancing of portfolio. Now on audacious gambling journey of increasing my units to 500k from next week, I will be investing my gsk compensation in OANDO on Monday. You need to have a thick skin to absorb the anticipated selfish decision of Mr Wale Tinubu et al. What GSK did to us would be a child play to what Wale et al would do to us. It is not a rumour that this selfish capitalist want to own OANDO 100% and run it like a sole proprietorship, same way i manage my business. The implication here is that Wale is not accountable to anybody. He is more interested in compensating us like GSK robbed us via **GLAXOSMITH-DIV_48 from GRDS/GSK SOA 48:WEMA*** I now understand why over 85% of company secretary in Nigeria are lawyers, same way 75% of Democrat senators and representatives in US are lawyers. Lol A greedy lawyer in business is a disaster for minority investors. He will exploit all the loop holes in business law to delist OANDO. Let us hope for the best and expect the worst. It would be a value and investment destruction for late OANDO boarders if Mr Wale decides to pay N7 compensation via technical term DELISTMENT but still in business via 3rd party (GSK principles) OANDO can clear all their foreign and local debts within 3 years if Wale is 5% transparent like Tony, Ovia, Adenuga, and other capitalists that pay us dividends. 7 Likes

This has slowly fizzled away and information on it is not so transparent as it used to be.Some aren't even aware it exists plus CGPA is a condition... This generation are softies.Better to hustle 5 or more scholarships, each paying minimum 100k annually for your duration in school than work study. Some scholarships even pay as high as 500k per session, then very few pay stipend in dollars... emmanuelewumi: 2 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: Transcorp is my physical and spiritual stock. We are going to SWOOT together, no shaking. I'm well diversified. I bought 2M units each for my 2 kids. I even pray for a heavy sell off so that I can buy more for them. I'm not afraid of Transcorp bear, I pray for it. My skin is thick. At the peak of the recent sell off, I made paper loss of over N29M in the 2 days on Transcorp. My investment philosophy would never allowed me to touch Transcorp, we rise, rise, rise and sink together. The only situation in Nigeria that will make me to sell 1 unit of Transcorp within 24 hours is if there is a coup de tat. Otherwise, we are going to destination 2T market cap together. Traders use strategy, I'm an investor I use philosophy and I have been one of the luckiest self Investors . I'm not appraising myself, it is just a philosophy that favour me. In my portfolio I have stocks that I bought at N3 that now worth N90, some N35 Today, i do not average down, I average up, hence, never scared of bear. I use same principle in NYSE, green all the ways 12 Likes 1 Share |

Demaxl: Would be cool if you can start investing early, even as a student. Many people didn't have that opportunity. First, get to know more about the capital market. KNOWLEDGE first. It is primarily for long-term investments. Marathon-like. However, if you learn some more skills on the flow, you can also play on the short-term end like trading but I will advise first focus on the long-term. Open a stockbroking account. Go with those that have online platforms. Invest regularly (say monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly), as much as you can afford to invest for the long-term without affecting your primary/immediate goal of education. Reinvest your earnings as much as possible. I think some firms accept as low as N5,000 to be invested. Know that it's not a get-rich-quick scheme. Sometimes, you could have good returns fast, sometimes you could lose value too. Patience. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Frangel:Bra, there is no excuse for the daylight robbery executed by GSK. Delisting, but continuing business via 3rd party is a technical language. This simply means, the real estate and other immovable assets belongs to the majority shareholders. The minority shareholders only got paid out via cash and cash equivalent. Lawyers and business language always create the scene of "the more you look, the less u see" A kind of Technical abracadabra. I scanned the internet for relevant information, the cash paid as GLAXOSMITH-DIV_48 from GRDS/GSK SOA 48:WEMA was from cash and retained earnings, this technicality is new. Just ask, where is the profit from the 3rd party business going to? GSK DELISTED BUT WOULD NOW CONTINUE MARKETING AND SELLING OF THEIR PRODUCTS VIA A 3RD PARTY VENTURE" There was a catch here. We pray Wale would not use same technicality. Already, the statement is now showing the group vs the parent company, the extent of the group relationship with the parents is not known to SEC talkless of minority self investors. Overall, there is a remarkable improvement in corporate filling. 1 Like |

Mankind2024:@Mankind2024, one major advantage about TA which you don't know about is that I can use it for trading and also as an investing tool. I see no reason keeping a stock that I bought at average 2.61 in 2023 and rose to above 18 & not take profit (no be juju be that?). When I saw opportunity in the same stock last trading week, bought it at 13 again! I will attribute all these negativity about TA to lack of in-depth knowledge about the tool 8 Likes 1 Share |

BullBearMkt:I share your sentiment and strategy. If i had 1 Million units of Transcorp at start, and i love Transcorp so much like @Mankind2024; i would have traded the highs and lows of Transcorp taking my units from 1 Million to 3 Million or more without adding any more of my money; while still taking a long term position as an investor. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Mankind2024: The real estate and immovable assets have been transferred as Held for Sale (Note 15) and to be disposed asap. Proceeds will be available for distribution to ALL shareholders after taking care of liabilities. Now, I think it's a win-win for ALL shareholders. The majority shareholders had to forgo part of amount owed them (N2b) so as to 'pacify' minority shareholders with early cash distribution (N17.42). But they will now pay themselves outstanding amounts GSK Nigeria owed them (~N13b). I think those close to the asset disposal deals might be able to buy those assets at good rates since GSK is trying to dispose as soon as possible. The 3rd party company will now import GSK products for sale/distribution in Nigeria. The 3rd party firm might likely be owned by Nigerians. This was what played out when CIBA left Nigeria. Nigerians (mainly former staff/management) formed a company to exclusively represent them here. GSK I think just wants to avoid the intricacies/risks/headaches of operating directly in Nigeria. Let the local firm take the wahala. You want their products, you get an LC from your bank (or agreed terms), they ship out, you take care of all the running around to get and sell their product. You pay them as agreed. No be their business with wetin dollar be, etc. It's a valid business model. I am not standing in for them. Just stating it as it is. Wale and Oando are on another level. Lol. 5 Likes |

You want to teach me what is retained earnings. Did I tell you I am a carpenter .It was specified and people wr buying above #16 ,some even bought at #17. The English was buying out minority shareholders by majority shareholders and subsequently delisting. Why didn't they just share the retained earnings and cash as special dividend long ago. Then later deliist after selling the remaining assets to pay us what ever it generates after taking care of liabilities Gsk closed shop in nigeria because they are not straight and not the economy. I am sure they whr equally getting cheap dollars. 4 Likes |
