You are living in abroad and you are advising people in Nigeria not to come over ,you are discouraging them by telling them that abroad is hard, but you have refused to come back to Nigeria. The worst is that even someone in the Uk that is a land of opportunities is telling people that alot of Nigerians in the Uk are poor including himself, but come back home,he will not. There are ups and downs in abroad but if you are determined, you will scale through.
My dear friends, abroad is sweet and people are living a good life here, is it the 24/7 power supply, security, all your basic needs,a working system to mention a few,so do not listen to lazy people or people who live abroad and do not want any other person to join them.I want you to have this at the back of your mind, once you are not lazy and you channel your strength towards making a better life for yourself in abroad, you must make it,cos many places in abroad are full of opportunities that can make you become whatever you want to be in life.
Finally, always make sure you go to a country where there's work for you to do,that way you can achieve your dreams.Stay away from bad energy, stay away from discouragement and avoid listening to lazy or selfish people living abroad.Stay focused, get motivated and determined, cos your dream is realizable if you decide to make it one.

Abroad yet u never leave.

Some of u need to travel and see why many guys after travelling, tend to discourage u.

For me and my wife we still dey Nigeria. Why should I leave Nigeria when I can build a family house under two years without mortgage.

I can enjoy 22hours electricity and I can also make 2.5million monthly.

I can eat whatever I want to eat and enjoy my life without paying exorbitant taxes.

In fact,abroad isn't for me.

This Nigeria you're talking about died the day APC came into power.

Most wealthy people who opt for abroad these days do so because of the growing security concerns in Nigeria. Kidnappings, robberies, ritual killings...etc.

You may have all the money you want, but are your kids safe when they leave for school? Are you safe when driving on our kidnappers riddled roads? Some days back we saw the mutilated corpse of an 8 year old child on the front page.

If you can provide for yourself, you should be worried cos you've become a target to criminals. This is why people leave.

Don't mind him. He doesn't know that it is risky to be doing well in the midst of hungry masses living around you.

That's the point I've been trying to make.

Poor people would hate you for being Rich. They would hate you for dressing neat. They would hate your kids for looking fresh, if you employ them as security, they would hate how comfortable you and your family are, they won't mind becoming an informat to kidnappers or robbers just to rip you off your hard earned money.

Why do you think our leaders and wealthy Nigerians send their wife and kids abroad whilst they remain in Nigeria? It's because they're aware of this fact.

Anyone who got discouraged from relocating abroad, never really had that intention.

If you feel Nigeria works better for you and your long term goals, stay!

If you feel the need to relocate abroad, research well, have the means and have the in-demand skills!

Spot on

This is what some Nigerians don't know. The poor envy the rich. The poor are jealous of the rich. If you mistakenly employ them into your house or business, they will look for means to ripp you off or kill you, your children and wife. I will never encourage any Rich man in Nigeria to stay put in Nigeria if he's willing to leave. By the time they kidnap him or his family members, he will know wotsup

If you can be discouraged from relocating then you never had the skills or the money or you hadnt made up your mind yet. One mantra I love to live with is that I will rather live with failure than regret. I rather try something and I fail at it completely than not doing that thing and then regretting years later why i never took that opportunity.

A fulfilled life doesn't mean you gained everything you wanted.

It means you tried everything your mind deliberated on. You tried. You failed. Or you succeeded.

A life of trial and error may not bring success, however, you won't remain the same way you started. It ends with a lesson you can leverage on.

Many people don't like to try because it takes effort. It takes confidence to bear the shame of failure.

They rather protect their ego and die in penury than step out of it and see how things will work out for their good.

When you have no regrets in life, you die a fulfilled man.

Definitely you summed everything up. Failure is completely irrelevant unless it's catastrophic and when it's catastrophic so long as you are still of sound body, mind and health, you can always recover.

Chai!
The Black race has no future.
See the way this my brother/sister is waxing lyrical about the white man's land.
He/she has been failed by the black race.
Wouldn't it have been better to have never received independence than to be in this sorry state as a nation?

Absolutely

We're not independent anything. A 63 years old nation acting like a kid. The leaders has destroyed the country beyond repair. Watch how that old frail emilokan of a president will blame past leaders after his 4 years.

The solution is either everyone go their separate ways. Infact i don't believe in anything Constitution amendment. Na still these useless leaders go amend the Constitution to their own taste

Hausa, yoruba and igbo should go their separate ways

An interesting option.

But what about the 'minority tribes' that don't want to be lumped in with the Big Three for fear of subjugation?

Ethnic groups like the Efiks, Tivs, Binis, Nupes, Kanuris, Ikwerres, Igalas, Ibibios, Beroms, Ijaws, Bachamas, Annang, Bokkos, Ebiras, Jukuns and so many others.

What do you propose we do with those?

hotplate:
For someone who ventured into something and failed how would you say such a person doesn't have regrets and died fulfilled. In fact what does failure and fulfilment have in common

When you people talk about failure, let me ask:

How many times did you tried and failed?

What methodology did you used?

What did you learn after failing?

Did you come back to try again using lessons from your previous failures?

Did you factor failure into your adventure and possible ways to mitigate it?

Did you consult experts or mentors before commencing the journey?

Because many of you after doing something for 6 months or 1 year and don't see immediate anticipated results, that becomes the end of the road. You term it a failure.

Meanwhile, it can be that you're still in the germination stage and need more years to become a strong tree with broad roots.

After the first failure, you lock up and fold your hands. No consistency. No obsession.

Businesses fold after many years. This may be due to unforeseen circumstances, policies, regulations, mismanagement, etc. But a business who's interested in carrying on with the business will think of other ways to maneuver.

Which is better: you tried and failed or you lampoon in self-pity and regrets because you were scared of failing?

If you try and fail, you take your L and leverage it to become better. Or divert to another route while utilizing the same lesson.

You don't regret something that's beyond your power. Regrets are a result of what you could have done but didn't. Regrets stem from passiveness - you didn't act or being proactive - you needed not to have acted.

However, whether active with negative feedback isn't a big deal. It's that you now have a modern and fresh idea about how to handle the issue next time.

You are not a failure if you tried your best to make ends meet. By the way, hardly the universe doesn't reward hard work + grit. It comes down to whether you are a man of wisdom and can leverage experiences and difficulties.

In the Song of Ice and Fire: Clash of Kings, Ser Dantos told Sansa "...the confusion will be our friend".

So if you're not a wise person, you'll see a dark ugly ground where others see it as a place to plant seeds.

Fulfillment isn't that you have all of your heart desires. It's that you lived your life the way you wanted, stretching it to the extreme. You came, you saw; even if you were conquered you still got experiences and lessons under your belt.

There is a probability of success in several trials; none when you don't try. The former is fulfillment, the latter is failure.

Thanks.
