Ah yes!

The Amapiano Derby is here!

Rather SA than those Cape Verde boys.

Finally! An English speaking opponent.

Nigerians do not fret.

Nwabili is also a good penalty specialist.

Good to know that Williams and Nwabili are both product of the South African league.

Both has kept 4 clean sheets each in 4 games but Nwabili has conceded 1 and Williams 2.

I am optimistic we are going to beat South Africa within 90 minutes.

Kudos to Williams South African goalkeeper...

We move to the game against South Africa on Wednesday,9pm Nigerian time.

Success to the SE
Success to us,Nigerians.

If I am SA with this type of keeper I would play 10 at the back and force you to penalties. Nobody is winning a penalty shoot out against SA.

We must win under 120 minutes or forget about it!

Apparently Ronald Williams has a great track record of saving penalties. The Eagles must keep this in mind!

Cape Verde was more technical has very dangerous splitting passes.

SA defence is good so we need to watch out and avoid them dragging us into extra time but they will have their hands full with an oshimen, lookman and Simon attack

Seems they trained hard for the pk with the gk.

Hugo very lucky these cv boiz couldn't covert clear chances.

It's Osimhen vs Mvala. I doubt Mvala can stop him twice.

As for me, this is the kind of game that Iheanacho will flourish well in. They love aerial attacks. That's the forte of our defense. Cape messed up.

The better side lost.

This could be a blessing in disguise for Nigeria.
Cabo verde coach removed two of his top players at the beginning of the second half because they couldn't convert some chances. I wonder what he was thinking.

And the 2 has the highest clean sheets in PSL. So their battle will be settled at the international stage.
At the moment, I think Williams have an edge. So SE needs to score him to push Nwabali to the top.

even the Supersports studio analysts are kind of sober, they know they were lucky tonight with their keeper and defence. One of them admitted it's tournament football

That's true, but I heard he's really improved over the past year and has quite a large number of clean sheets for Sundowns.

I prefer playing SA than Cape Verde. The Cape Verde team na very dangerous team and if u no tk caution dem fit disgrace u

I don’t see the super eagles going into extra time against the SA team. The match go be comfortable win for regulation time for the eagles

LOL

Calm down. Cape Verde players were not great at penalties and neither were the South Africans. They were both rubbish, one was just more rubbish than the other.
