Indeed, I just confirmed it. It's only a matter of time before they also increase monthly subscription fees.

This would have been a good time to pay for several months ahead, but Starlink only supports monthly subscription.
Re: The Starlink Thread by toluxa1(m): 9:47pm On Feb 24
I doubt if they will increase subscription cost.

I also thought about that too, that is one thing I believe they have complete power over. I heard they are some South American countries that even pays lesser than $43

Hey everyone, please has someone ordered an Ethernet adapter or Starlink Kit lately?

I want to confirm if they still delivery within a week or buy from Twitter vendors since it’s urgent 😫

Thanks.

That's fairly decent. Awaiting my ETA, going to use my DSTV mount for it.

Please did it work? Do you have screenshots?

ask4bk:

I got starlink and used my dstv mount too. By this I mean, I removed dstv dish. No more giving them 14k monthly to get football channels.
With starlink you can use iptv which is cheaper and watch all dstv channels plus 18k other channels around the world

Which IPTV are you using?

lame comment. Is the starlink for people earning over 500k all for the whole Nigerians? If you think it for people earning 500k, I'm sorry starlink will fold highest 6 months in Nigeria, the people earning such are not significant enough to sustain them.

1yr+ and still running

Does one just go ahead with the set up on the app regardless of the service address on the account and it'll work? Service address on my account is in central area while my place is at life camp

My place right now doesn’t even have house number, don’t know if that will be an issue

The challenge lies with the Starlink router. It has to do with the channels it transmits its 5Ghz frequency, which we are unable to change.

The one solution that works, is to get the Starlink adapter, then connect a third party router via lan. The 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz would most likely be available via the third party router. Personally, I use MTN Hynetflex and MTN 5G routers. Though, pure routers like Linksys, TP-link, Netgear work better.

You use your Starlink Ethernet cable to connect your MTN router?
