Amigoss:Music is an art, but even then it's not entirely free-form. There are conventions you must follow. Otherwise you end up making 'noise'. You keep assuming I have this romantic belief in my head of what music should sound like, which is wrong. I don't care if you are making bubblegum music or deep music, it's all about the artistry for me. I should be able to sense the 'idea' behind what you are doing. There are artistes who make music i can't connect to, but I still respect the quality of work they put in. Taylor Swift is an example I don't discriminate, I critique. Which talent Shallipopi get, abeg? I really want to know. 7 Likes |

Ibime: All those performative outrage by Nigerians sha Many of them work under the same situation for one-quarter of the money When I spoke to someone (A man and business owner in Nigeria) he said that's basically what most jobs expects only that he said it openly. He should have tried to massage the egos of people and not say it that way I discussed with another friend a woman but works in a top law firm in Nigeria. She was pissed that why will he write this JD, he must be canceled he is a bad person etc but in the course of our discussion she divulged that at her own job all what is written I'd what they actually do. She actually takes job home and can be called anytime over the weekend to work on a brief(while not being paid). So she analyzed based on emotions of what was said and not the fact which is the compensation How many jobs in Nigeria make N1.4m a month Make we dey play As an individual I don't care about flowery words or playing on my emotions just pay me If MT had said in this company we will work as family, work towards a common goal, you will be part of a great brand, your job title will be Chief Executive Assistant and the pay will be 500k people will jump at it But because he was blunt about what most employers expect of you and paid a princely amount for it by Nigerian standards. He is the problem For me I don't mind you calling the job anything the only consideration is the compensation. I have no emotional attachment to any job As a man who will head a family let all considerations be in facts alone and not someone using your head and serving you emotional lamba This is why na women dey full church congregation for singing clapping cleaning church and free labor while na men they full the church committee where the money is being shared. 3 Likes |

raumdeuter: Very silly on his part. Maybe he's also caught onto the social media frenzy and forgotten how things are irl. All he had to do was include it as a drop down in the application link and filter them out based on his preference(s). But no, he had to be explicit 1 Like |

raumdeuter: That boy is full of shit tho That 1m is his monthly salary after all deductions. It does not include his upfront which is likely 100 to 150 % 12 months and other allowances like 13th month, leave allowance, turkey. As a person who has spent 20 years in a lethargic nnpc I doubt the guy can cut it in a hard core private sector. And in the same nnpc dude is almost certainly under employed. Who knows maybe he is working in Kaduna refinery |
