⚡Zelensky’s conflict with Zaluzhny created an “uncomfortable political situation” for him. The British newspaper The Times writes about this. Disagreements between the Ukrainian President and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have become “public knowledge.” And if Zelensky nevertheless dismisses Zaluzhny, he will look “vindictive” or “weak” in the eyes of the people. Tensions between “the two most popular people in Ukraine” have been growing over the past year. This was partly due to Zaluzhny's unsuccessful strategy and what he considered unjustified political interference in military decision-making and appointments. In addition, the Office of the President was afraid of the growing ratings of the commander in chief. And although he did not show political ambitions, Zaluzhny was already seen as “Zelensky’s rival.” The political crisis in the Kyiv elite reflects the more serious challenges facing Zelensky this year. At a minimum, for Ukraine the nature of the conflict has changed, and its main task now is to build up its armed forces before a new counter-offensive in 2025.

erniok:Do you study? Because if you do, you won't be asking this question. I don't want to educate anyone today but I'm forced to do this. Here you have it. [b]On 3 December, Pakistan launched Operation Chengiz Khan. This marked the official initiation of hostilities of the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Like every nation would do, The Indian response was a harsh one, while fighting a defensive military strategy in the western theatre, a plan for a massive, coordinated and decisive offensive thrust into the Eastern theatre. On 5 December, the U.S began attempts for a UN-sponsored ceasefire, which were twice vetoed by the USSR in the security council. This was done by the USSR because of the actions of the u.n prior war. The indians made it known in the beginning that they don't want hostilities with Pakistan but the united states refused to tell their puppet (Pakistan) to stop, instead, they armed the paks to the teeth. The u.s refused to tell their puppet to stop hostilities while they had the upper hand, now that India had the upper hand, the USSR refused to settle for peace because the death toll of the indians was already too big to be over looked. I call it a pay back. On 8 December, Washington received intelligence reports that India was planning an offensive into West Pakistan. So what did they do? When USA got the hint that fall of Dhaka is inevitable. The United States dispatched a ten-ship naval task force, the US Task Force 74, from the Seventh Fleet off South Vietnam into the Bay of Bengal. The task force was to be headed by USS Enterprise, at that time, it was the largest aircraft carrier in the world. The Enterprise weighing 75,000 tonnes was the largest nuclear-powered carrier in the world with 70 fighter aircraft. In comparison , India's Navy was led by the 20,000 tonne INS Vikrant with 20 fighter aircrafts. At the same time, UK dispatched its aircraft carrier HMS Eagle in the Arabian Sea. If went according to the plan, India would be caught in 'pincer' attack. The US in Bay of Bengal, UK in the Arabian Sea, while Pakistan on land, India was caught. Since you think it was not an invasion, take note that the: Task Force 74 was a naval task force that has existed twice. The first Task Force 74 was a mixed Allied force of Royal Navy, Royal Australian Navy, and United States Navy ships which operated against Japanese forces from 1943 to 1945 during the Pacific campaign, in WW2. The second Task Force 74 was assembled from the US Navy′s Seventh Fleet that was deployed to the Bay of Bengal by the Nixon administration in December 1971, at the height of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. What saved India was a treaty signed less 6 months before this event. The treaty signed in New Delhi by Sardar Swaran Singh and Andrei Gromyko of the Soviet Union -- the foreign ministers of their respective nations -- ensured that India checkmated possible Anglo-American and Chinese help to Pakistan. On August 9, 1971, India signed a 'Peace and Friendship' treaty with the Soviet Union to lay the foundations of a glorious victory in the war for liberation of Bangladesh that took place three months later. India played her part by extending her recognition of Bangladesh on 6 December. [b]So what did India do?... When faced with this destruction. It quietly sent Moscow a request to activate a secret provision of the Indo-Soviet security treaty, under which Russia was bound to defend India in case of any external aggression. To counter this two-pronged British-American threat, Russia dispatched a nuclear-armed flotilla from Vladivostok on December 13 under the overall command of Admiral Vladimir Kruglyakov, the Commander of the 10th Operative Battle Group (Pacific Fleet). Though the Russian fleet comprised a good number of nuclear-armed ships and atomic submarines, their missiles were of limited range (less than 300 km). Hence, to effectively counter the British and American fleets the Russian commanders had to undertake the risk of encircling them to bring them within their target. This they did with military precision. That was then, unlike now that Russia can fire missiles from over 2000km with high precision. It was during this time that the whole world knew that the west was so scared of anything Russian. The Russians intercepted a communication from the commander of the British carrier battle group, Admiral Dimon Gordon, to the Seventh Fleet commander: “Sir, we are too late. There are the Russian atomic submarines here, and a big collection of battleships.” The British ships fled towards Madagascar while the larger US task force stopped before entering the Bay of Bengal. Let's not forget that: china,Jordan, Iran, srilanka and the other gulf countries, where all against India, and only the USSR was all India had to defend herself I'm tired of writing, if you still have an argument against this facts, simply go and read about this. ⚡Greece has said that it does not intend to transfer the S-300 surface-to-air missile systems in the country's inventory to Ukraine. Athens called the reports about this false and added that it was "not going to risk the defense capability of the state". However, the message referred only to the S-300. At the same time, the Greek army has several dozen other Russian-made SAMs and air defense systems on its books. Therefore, such revelations should certainly not be taken as a refusal to supply Ukraine with air defense equipment. Furthermore, the United States has previously approved the sale of 5th generation F-35 fighter jets to Greece and plans to give away decommissioned ships of the coastal zone. This generosity is clearly not accidental and implies that Greece should share something else in return, for example, their Tor or Osa air defense systems. |

⚡Athens will not transfer S-300 surface-to-air missile systems (SAMs) to Kiev and will not jeopardise its defence, Greek government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis told a briefing. "We must say that there should be a limit to fake news, especially when it comes to the defence of the country, its foreign policy and the country's interests abroad, our reputation abroad," Marinakis stated. "There is nothing like that (intention to transfer S-300 to Ukraine), I categorically deny it, in any case there was not even an intention of the government to risk the defence of the country as part of its defence policy." 1 Like
