I just sent a message to a certain transport company inquiring about the bus fare from Jibowu to Cotonou? They replied with 70K with passport. I'm dumbfounded. Like, really? For a 3-hr trip. I've never been to Cotonou, but I didn't expect the fare to be this high. Any tips?

I'm doing it right now. So far so good, but the prices are higher than you estimated. From Oshodi to Mike 2 is 400 naira. I'm currently in a bus headed for Badagary; the price is 1,500 naira. I'll keep you updated with the trip. 🙂

I really really really messed up for not taking photos. Cotonou is beautiful. At least, the areas I hung around. I especially took notice of the quality of most of the cars on the roads. Impressive. There's no Toyota worship going on there like in Nigeria. You have your modern Suzukis, Hyundai, Kia (especially Kia. Loved the EV6s I saw), MINI, etc. I know, I know, everything is not all about cars, but I'm a car guy🙂. So, I had a safe and interesting trip. Barring the language barrier, it's really nice.
