it's so funny you can't even use stats to prove it.
Aribo started along side Ndidi in the last edition benching Nwakali and even Etebo post AFCON.

When it comes to attack, don't use Morocco as a yardstick. They have a blunt attack. We have far better attackers

Take this to the bank!!
You wrote this and said I should take it to the bank.

Please read it again.

B4 the AFCON Morocco and Senegal were rated as the top favourites and you say they have a blunt attack.

They started their 1st game with a clean sheet and a 3 goal margin.

Just admit you were wrong and move on.

Nigeria never made it past the world group stage ??

No one should take you serious here

And besides Morocco 🇲🇦 don’t have our attack ,,, You need to be factual. No one dispute them reaching the World Cup semis, and kudos to the coach who made exceptional use of what he has in his Arsenal…
Nigeria have never made it past the round of 16.It was an error. We have never been to the quarter finals of the WC and he is here downplaying the achievement of the Morocco national team.

That's the narrative they are trying to push

I wish the lad speedy recovery. He has worked hard for this team

However, his absence may be a blessing in disguise for us. I would start Moffi in his place
Back to the origin of our argument,Osimhen is the only Striker who can get us the trophy.

You want to start 2 strikers who have not played even a minute since the beginning of the tournament in a semi-final game.

Have you coached a club side b4?

If you haven't try coaching a local side in your area, it will help you understand the game better. Also Enrol your team into intra state tournaments.

I just don't know how some of you think football.

Case closed.

This is the AFCON where Morocco who were better than SA got defeated by them.

Aribo has been struggling for game time this season.

Yes,an in form Aribo, works harder than Raph Onyedika.
Aribo has never had a higher workrate to Onyedika inform or no inform.

this same last edition that ended in R16, you have now shift to Nwakali grin Abeg Aribo and Onyedika who has a higher workrate.

Bro go watch our match against GB and last minute against Angola, you see Aribo is wash. That's why many fans complained, if you are removing Onyeka the best bet is onyedika except he's injured or you want a change of formation which was not what jpes was doing. Our midfield was cease to exist in both occasion.

Aribo has been on the bench for most games this season.

He only started the 4 games b4 the AFCON.

In the last AFCON, he assisted Iheanacho's goal against Egypt.

Peseiro while defending the performance of his players said"Iheanacho and Aribo have not had enough game time this season".

To those saying that Nigeria will lose if Osimhen doesn't play: Nawa for una oo. Is your allegiance to Osimhen or to the Super Eagles? How can you wish the team failure just because your favourite player MAY NOT play? That's despicable.

Anyway, no need to worry. Osimhen is going to start the match. The abdominal discomfort is not that serious to keep him away.

The best to replace Osimhen is Moffi even KC Iheanacho no fit that Onuachu can't be a starter in the SE abeg

Make una beg pesiero Sha

Onuachu will be -1 when starting

Sadiq would have been the worse. He would have had nothing to offer. At least Onuachu is still doing the job he is called to do. Sadiq would have been falling all over the place. He is at the club now but would likely not score before the AFCON is over.

This is unfair. U don't have to do Sadiq like that.

SE will be crowned 2023 Afcon champion.
JP will leave immediately. The environment, NFF, fair weather fans, Journalists and crude analysts too toxic for comfort.
SE will not qualify for the World Cup 2026.
This is funny.

1- Jpes leaves or stay, we are force to reckon with post Afcon. Infact I predict a back-to-back afcon title with this current setup if we win.

2- Toxic? Nothing new. Nigeria as a whole is toxic. I cant remember when things were not toxic. Nff toxic, fans toxic, Apc toxic, naira/dollar toxic. Forget that one.

3- and why would we not qualify? Just cause you say it? Or you privy to something we don't know.

You seem to forget that Onuachu is in Ivory coast due to injury Sadiq sustained before the tourney. I think you have your answer already

which set-up, the one the anti-oshimen peeps don't like?

see we don't manage success well, and that toxicity is too much for any sustainable progress, let's win this afcon and add to our other laurels, anything we see after, make we take am like that.

Onyeka is not a DM either. He lacks the positional discipline for that role.Brentford always play Onyeka as a CM/b2b midfielder.

If Onyeka can fit in, why not Yusuf?

Samuel Eto’o tendered his resignation as President of the Cameroon Football Association.

The members of the Executive Committee unanimously rejected it.

we have passed the era of "take am like that"

This is a championship team. This team will rule.

Osimhen is APOTY. The 8th D'or, just behind Halland and Mbappe in the strikers league. No other living striker come anywhere close. Me don't really bother about the anti-osimhen crew, we actually need them.

As a striker, you need the negative reviews, the critics, the doubters, etc. They help fuel you.

If osimhen bags two tomorrow, hopefully they'd rest small.

Whether we like to say it or not, stats are their for life to give accolades to Jose Paseiro.

Tomorrow, we feat on Bafana Bafana, then smash whoever we face in the final to equal Ghana's number of AFCON Trophies won.

Awoniyi is only CF that can give us paltry Osimhen style.....Awo in Afcon would have give us real last 20 minutes tormenting coming in as sub.....I don't think Moffi and Onuachu can do it cuz I don't see reason why Peseiro will keep very tired Osimhen till 90 minutes.

Onuachu is too slow to press any defence, he needs support. When he played in the EPL he got exposed , to use Onuachu you have to play to his strengths.

Most times in these tournaments your squad depth and strength are pivotal. We have too many passengers in the squad.

Moffi may be able to offer something different and maybe effective but without him being given opportunity,we will never know.

Sometimes, it's at these times players take opportunity and claim position but they MUST be given opportunity.
