what some people are failing to understand is that there is a coach in the opposing team who has prepared hard to neutralize our style.. it's down to a war between both coaches here. We are playing mostly Sundowns players.. we have the players, it's down to the coach.

Curtisaxel17:
Team "One leg of Osimhen is better than a healthy Moffi", how market?

Osimhen isn't able to press as usual, creating problems for the coach. But God forbid we allow a fully fit proven striker on the bench to play.

Even from a wheelchair, Osimhen must play.

Our toughest game so far. South Africa is reaping the benefits of their massive investments in their league over the years. See as them dey pass like prime Barcelona.

No wahala Sha. I just hope we will manage and see one goal and lock up shop.

We need to bring our backline lower. Hugo Broos has figured out that long balls are the way to destroy our defence.

This game is a pure strategy war at this point. Brain versus brain. So far, Broos is winning.

Thank you, SA is going long and bypassing the midfield and taking long shots.

You can't remove Lookman or iwobi that's madness.

Lookman is the scorer while Iwobi is controlling the midfield.

Iwobi isn't marking and that's a big problem. He's been really lackadaisical.

A back 4 with a stationary DM will deal with those spaces.

That's the problem..

A DM is not stationary. It's a CB that's stationary.

They have kept Lookman quiet in today's game. Time for the others to step up.

We need to be unpredictable. They are countering our game so far. Dig into the reserves and switch things up or pass a different instruction. Jpes is up to you.

Our defense has face more pressure in this one match than the entire tournament combined 😭

Exactly. We need to be clinical and Osimhen's missing may hurt us here. I am also skeptical about his fitness.

Bright osayi Samuel is not built like a native defender he’s a wingback his main goal is to overlap and create chances

In the case of defending he’s a horrible defender i keep saying this right from our earlier games but hate for sanusi won’t make you guys see that

Zaidi would have got wasted by Percy, and would probably conceded a penalty by now with one tash challenge too many.

Could Zaidu have contributed to the attack with quality precision balls, a capital big NO

Team chemistry missing today with SE so far.

I hope all those heavy with criticism on Zaidu can see how far with Osayi. Osimhen seems tired and may be truly not match fit judging by his work rate in the first half. Lookman needs to have more ball on his legs at the final third

Paseiro you have 45 mins to prove your enemies wrong, am only appealing to you. Perhaps truly you have signed a new contract with another team and met your target with the Eagles but it won't hurt to prove your detractors wrong again. Good luck

South Africa coach said this and he got it right in the first half...wasn't worry about Osimhen but Lookman.

I expected at least 2 changes at this half time.
Omerou for osayi and yusuf for iwobi.
Delay in this subtitutions may see us trailing.

Make everybody rest abeg grin grin .. Osimhen is not pressing from the front which is why Iwobi and Onyeka are doing the marking. Unfortunately, that leaves a gap in our Midfield which SA is exploiting. Moffi should come in for Osimhen if the latter is no fit. Or let's overload the midfield and pair Simon and Lookman up front.
