Joebie: We need midfielders that has been our greatest weakness in this competition hence our set up Imagine SA using tiki taka to give us bp yesterday. We need to solve our midfield crisis like we have solved the goal keeping crisis 3 Likes 1 Share |

I feel the Super Eagles studied the South Africa goalkeeper and prepared for him. Once Moffi scored the first, Williams became confused on where to dive. Ihenancho and Moffi were kept for a time like this 😄 Kudos to Peseiro. 14 Likes 2 Shares

Goke7:. They were just picking the spaces like say person no dey there. But Alhassan introduction reduced it anyways. But one more body was needed in the MF anyway. |

Where will Ndidi play when he comes back? Onyeka is now the most important player in our midfield. If we maintain this system, who sits between Ndidi and Iwobi? 6 Likes 1 Share |

Barryseal:the teams performance and current momentum will lure a lot of them to us only if the nff will act fast One of the most important amongst them is the young Lecce left back Dorgu. That kid is the new Alphonso Davies |

charlesemeka85: If we get Dorgu(which I doubt), then our LB is sorted for years. I’m not putting my mind to it. The most feasible addition in that defensive set up is Adarabioyo. 3 Likes |

Michael Folorunsho that I follow in serie A will be massive in this current super eagles team. He is robust, strong and has decent footballing IQ. A bit similar like Onyeka but more attack minded and a better passer of the ball than the brentford hard man Because of his attacking qualities I think he will make a good box to box/ attacking midfielder for this team atleast as a cover to Iwobi and Onyeka |

charlesemeka85: I expected Omeruo and Aina to miss. Aina is too skillful and anxious to be a PK taker. 4 Likes 1 Share |

charlesemeka85: If you ain’t born and bred here, I don’t count you, until you show you wanna be one of us. Yes, Tammy’s dad also wanted him to play for Nigeria, same as Saka’s dad. Your brother from Mbaise has thought me a lesson, I will never get my hope high on any player born abroad again. |

charlesemeka85: The two players I had my coin on were Moffi and Iheanacho. I was skeptical when Ekong stepped up because I felt Ronwen Williams could get his prediction right as they were familiar foes, just as Nwabali did Mokoena. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 9:31am On Feb 08 |
ChrisKels:Eze own too pain u I knw but one thing u should hv at the back of your mind is that we can’t and will never hv them all 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 There is no harm in trying and the football house and coach shouldnt be relaxed waiting for these kids to beg first before been considered for a call up I just wish the current nff chairman and jpes will be aggressive in getting these kids just the way Pinnick and rohr were during their time. |

ChrisKels:later on self after watching eze many times at palace I found out that he won’t even last as a super eagles player if he played for us because of his nonchanlant kinda style That boy off the ball is useless and him dey play monkey post (street football) style of football |

charlesemeka85: For fücks sake when this mugu was a nobody without a club we gave him a sense of belonging and encouraged him by bringing him to train with our big boys, and this anuofia turned around to shit on us when we needed him. Aswear I don’t wish him well. Others no pain me one bit, but that ingrate called Eze can go to hell. 1 Like |

ChrisKels:LMAOOOOOOOOOOO Make those ones dey. That's another reason why I want us to win the AFCON. Ademola Lookman, William Troost-Ekong and Alexander Iwobi. Make Abraham, Olise, Eze, Tomori etc dey wait and hope. BTW Patrick Dorgu is still feasible. He's still a youth international so if we act fast, especially if we win the Afcon and kick on in our WCQ, he will be tempted. But you dey correct shaa, foreign born players are not as reliable when it comes to pitching their tent with us as Naija born guys. 3 Likes |

charlesemeka85:When I saw him as the next taker, I shouted. Like why Omeruo of all people? I told the person beside me that na outside stadium Dem go pick the ball. Alas! Baba disappointed me. The PK was too cold. He made Willy Willy sit down and drink water. 5 Likes 1 Share |
