I was surprised when I read last week that he was from Rivers State, because "Nwabali" sounds like an Igbo name to me. The funny thing now is if you ask his village people, dem go talk say dem no be Igbos. Funny people.

States like kogi, rivers, cross river, benue, edo, akwa ibom, Delta, Bayelsa hv aboriginal igbo communities that were carved out to the above mentioned regions during the creation of states

Dominic Solanke can still switch and play for Nigeria though, so if genuinely he wants to play for us now, why not?!

When I spoke with him quite a few years ago when he was at Liverpool he had zero interest and zero affinity for anything Nigerian.

In addition l am not overly convinced, he has done exceptionally well this season in the EPL, in a low performing team like Bournemouth. He needs CONSISTENCY I want to see if he can maintain the trajectory next season.

On the other hand we have Adebayo who has 9 goals playing for a struggling Luton Town. I remember a gangly Adebayo when he was at Fulham at 16 he was already 6"3. He was more about skill then than a big number 9.

The question would be are they better than KC, Moffi, Awoniyi and Onuachu.

I know all that and that's why I'm always appalled when people from those areas reject their Igbo heritage. I have many of them as friends. It's annoying.

Oga, it was Rohr fault not Eze. When he was available Rohr refused to call him.

What do you expect?

LMAOOOOOOOOOOO

Make those ones dey. That's another reason why I want us to win the AFCON. Ademola Lookman, William Troost-Ekong and Alexander Iwobi.

Make Abraham, Olise, Eze, Tomori etc dey wait and hope.

BTW Patrick Dorgu is still feasible. He's still a youth international so if we act fast, especially if we win the Afcon and kick on in our WCQ, he will be tempted.

But you dey correct shaa, foreign born players are not as reliable when it comes to pitching their tent with us as Naija born guys.

Tammy and Tomori are no longer eligible to play for Nigeria.

He won't come

You see the thing with this FB is, if thwy really wanted to play for us, we wouldn't need to beg them

He would never play for naija. They feel that showing support this way and donating to naija charity causes is enough

I find these comments to smack of crass ignorance and it's on par with tribalism.

It's like saying all Igbo men are greedy for money and stingy and all Warri people too like fight, or all Benin people are all fetish.

You cannot put everybody born outside Nigeria into one box and decide by yourself what they are thinking.

I have been to Chelsea youth games were players are speaking 🗣️ Igbo to themselves. I've seen boys born in the UK who speak Yoruba and Igbo fluently.

What you have written is opinionated and self birthed

Maybe our performance at the AFCON will finally convince Olise.

forgiveness:

Olise is the upgrade of Chuks not Tella or Noni. Noni na same with chuks in decision making.

Olise na world class. I want all though.

If Olise moves to a club like Man United who hv pencilled him down as Antony’s replacement next summer he will opt for France

They played better in the first half but the game evened out eventually. Their team speed was something else, blazing through our midfield at times. It was amazing.
Hopefully, the national team selectors look the way of Ndubuisi Ndah. He's like the Van dyk of Orlando Pirates. They practically worship him there. He's Nigerias best kept secret.
tongue worship who? Ndah is a 26 year old 6ft 3 starter for Orlando pirates that's all I also watch the dstv premiership

It seems you have been eating strong bitter 🌿 leaf soup with stale fish 🐠 again.

Eze was invited when he was 17/18 already playing for QPR then ABANDONED and FORGOTTEN for players like Nwakali brothers and others doing nothing by the NFF.

The NFF put him into the forgotten drawer for over two years then when he had blown up ,we finally remembered him.

Usofia say " Remember me, when I'm poor"

Then England started looking his way, the rest is history. We had a chance to get Tomori when he was getting ready to blow when he was in the Championship with Derby but we did not. We preferred Awaziem and Omeruo.

Iwobi had not played one single game for Arsenal first team in the premier League. Before he was called to the SE first team.

So the problem is not the players but the NFF and broken promises and lack of integrity.
