[quote author=Zannix post=128359759]Good evening guys, i just got my notes...kindly weigh in pls. 1yrs program, self sponsor, traveling alone. Tuition 14k Cad...paid 6k cad. POF 29m. Source of funds...my 5yrs old biz, registerd and active. Biz documents provided...cert of incorporation, memert, form cac 1.1, annual return receipts, biz instagram handle, prev promo fliers, screenshots of messages showing customers orders, 4months sales invoice, savings account showing pmt from customers and pmt to my suppliers. I avoided TCC, i don't use my company account due to charges. I also mentioned i worked in the bank for 8yrs before going into biz. Due to file size, i uploaded my proof of source of income/biz documents under photo id section. I removed it from POF section because i couldnt compress further. I dont know if this very act is the reason why i was denied. Pls is reconsideration a viable option for me? Contributions pls.[/quote There is no harm in sending a reconsideration to point out the fact that the POF docs were saved in another section of the upload part, I am sure the VO did not see those docs. 1 Like |

Yes, even with 100 pages of documents you can still compress to less than 4mb. It was obvious that was the reasoj for your denial. Zannix: |

You can indeed apply for reconsideration or appeal the decision. However, it's important to understand that during the application process, all documents you submit are critically reviewed, regardless of the section they are uploaded in. When applying for reconsideration or appealing the decision, you should gather all relevant documentation and evidence to support your case. This might include: 1. Ensuring that all necessary financial documents are visible and properly labeled. 2. Clarifying any discrepancies or misunderstandings that may have arisen during the initial review process. 3. Providing additional documentation supporting your financial stability and ability to fund your studies in Canada. Goodluck! Zannix: 1 Like |

Ndubisi12: I did upfront medicals after submitting and submitted via webform. But I was denied before they could update my medicals. |

evansky: At a point I was able to go below 4mb but then most of the documents became blurry. I was forced to cut some documents and upload them in other sections. |

Bohye84: Whilst IRCC accepts educational loans as POF, they do not accept loans from MFBs in Nigeria because MFBs are not allowed to engage in foreign exchange transactions in Nigeria. |

Good morning house. For those that submitted SOWP when their spouse is still in Nigeria and was approved. Kindly highlight how you applied. |

chevchenko: It can come anytime. There is no specific time for getting PPR. However, you need to be patient till the estimated processing time elapse which is currently at 9 weeks before you initiate any correspondence with IRCC. |

Zannix: It’s obvious the fault is from you, why did you have to upload documents in section that have specific documents that should be uploaded? What you could have done is to section your document and upload the max on the main application. Why you submit the rest via webform, as they could be easily seen as additional documents by VO. But all hope should not be lost…put up an appeal and clearly state you uploaded some docs in other sections, and on your part, you fail to mention it to VO in your LOE. My two cent opinion ✌🏽 1 Like 1 Share |

Please I need some advice on passport matters; I will be going for fall 2024, and my program end date is on April 2026, and my passport expires on May 2026, should I just renew my passport now before sending it to the embassy or should I just use it like that till 2026 and then renew it. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 4:33pm On Feb 09, 2024 |
If your program is MSc you can reapply for SOWP for your wife. Each application is assessed on its own merits. Treat her application as if she is applying alone AskGod07: |

You can renew it now and send it to the embassy to avoid a long process when your passport expires. ekeson45: 1 Like |
