I don't know why people take football to serious like that at the detriment of their health. As much as I love football, I don't allow it get to me to the extent of affecting my general well being & health.

The last time I ever had any medical health related issue due to a football match was 2006 Champions league final between Arsenal & Barca. I had serious headache after Arsenal lost the match and e be like say my head wan burst from the shouting and tension that happened through the 90 mins.

As I grew older I decided such energy should not be expended on a football match I have no control over the eventual outcome. Except those men who died as a result of Naija Vs Super Eagles are heavy gamblers, I don't see reason why they should subject themselves to that much tension.
Imagine supporting arsenal in wengay days and nigeria
WHat doesn't kill you makes you stronger

On a serious note: if person heart no fit take the tension on football take a break
If old men like fegruson, roy hugson and several oldies survive football pressure why person they die

I doubt the Rawlings kinda approach will even be successful in a country like Nigeria bedeviled by tribalism and ethnicity. It didn't work in 1966 when Nigerians are not as divided as they are today and I doubt it will work now.

The same Nigerians who vote for politicians based on primordial sentiments like tribalism will find a way to sabotage the process of cleansing the system cos one or two of their benefactors are amongst those earmarked for elimination.

The magnified Rawling’s approach will work. And yes the caveat is that the junta has to be multi-ethnic. I don’t want to go into detail again make DSS no go pick me up next time I step foot in the country. grin

You also have to remember that Rawlings wasn’t acting alone. He came into power as a first amongst equals of a multi-ethnic junta as well. That kind of approach requires a group effort rather than one man going it alone.

Na misplaced priority be that. Such a man should not complain of hardship.

The main problem is this. CBN is still not allowing us convert Naira to Dollar at the bank. So what happens when people need dollar for importation? They go to the black market.

I just pray this thing does not backfire. If not, we will soon see N2500 to a dollar.

That's the way to go

As nihilist mentioned, if there are bottlenecks with ease of purchasing usdt with usd, it makes things a bit difficult especially for those who don't have Naira accounts.

I don't even understand why this basic statement seems bogus.

You cannot buy dollar from bank, and Paul Jing will not collect Naira from you in Guangzhou; Either dollar or Yuan.

The rate at which black market will rise now will be ridiculous.

For married people with kids, if you mean just paying bills and driving a 2003 corolla, then 600k monthly will be just enough.

If you have to save for the rainy day, take flight when you need to travel, go on vacation with the family and lodge in hotels, you're on your own.

Exactly.

With 600k and resizing your coat, you would be fine.

bro there is literally what is called p2p platform..

I get because those EU and A-list countries don't joke with taxes and stuffs...

There is an option in p2p that is called physical meetup where you meet the person in physical and give him/her physical cash and the person transfers USDT to your wallet..

Unless there is something I'm missing but there is no excuse for someone not to use crypto to send in his/her transactions at a very discounted rates

Another unforced error.

It wasn't necessary.
They've successfully unified the rate.
The spread between the official and parallel rate is less than N50.
Liquidity in the official window is surging.

The CBN should be signaling a return to normal, not more restrictions.

Official rate has more than tripled from 460 to 1470 in less than a year.
3000 is just 2x.
Cardi B and Tinubu should keep playing with fire.

Fashola had an interview days ago where he said Nigerians are expecting too much of Tinubu.

Wole Soyinka
Fashola
Festus Keyamo

The last two were interestingly lawyer-activists.

I have not said 600k is big, but if you cut your coat according to the size of today's economic realities, you will be more than fine.

So you wan tell me say all the family men in Lagos and Nigeria are spending above 600k monthly?

If you want to chill as an Odogwu and Game changer, 600k no reach.

If you adjust to the Renewed Nigeria, 600k is enough for you.

This is not about cutting your coat.
More people have gone under.
Things are alot more expensive.
Which means your spending has gone up and your purchasing power has been cut badly.
The amount you spent to fix a car in 2022 isn't the same you spend today.
The amount your spent on fuel in January 2023 is almost 300% more now just price. The volume you consume has increased because of terrible power supply and even poor quality petrol that burns off faster.
The money you spent on food in 2022 is alot more now.
School fees has gone up alot more.
The things you buy for the house that are necessities are now 3 times more expensive.
Should I talk about the cost of medication?

Now let's talk about the parents you support, do you reduce the money or increase it with the price of things?
There's a surge in poverty meaning if 20 people were begging you in 2022, 40 people are probably begging you now.
Lets now face personal development if you are a career person.
How much is the cost of certifications now compared to last year? Probably 2 times or 3 times depending on if it's a UK or US certification.

Like I said, 600k is not much if you are a proper family person

I don't want to have a car.
I will only give 1 person begging me money every month
I don't want to have any certifications
I will use my gen from 7pm to 10 pm everyday.

Oya rephrase this fantasy and tell me 600k is still not enough.

40 people are begging me automatically means i will be catering for 40 people abi?

As per USAID wey i be?
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 12:22pm On Feb 09
600k was 800 dollars in Jan 2023.
Today that's about 388 dollars.
With increased inflation.

The end
