Cbn and agric ministry says there are 13 million farmers in Nigeria. So if 13 million farmers cannot produce the food Nigeria needs, I doubt extra farmers will

Op, you must have been living in Mars to open such a thread .

I said this because I figured you couldn't have been in Nigeria where ,everyday we hear fulani herdsmen feeling farm crops yo their cows and when farmers confronted them, they get hacked down.
All over the South and the Middlebelt, farmers are being threatened off their farms by fulanis with AK47s. Our compromised useless govt called it farmers-herders clash but unfortunately only farmer's bodies we see but no fulanis' corpse.

You're spot on Op. I know a couple of people even in Lagos who do small farming in their gardens.. Vegetables, yam, okro, etc. Even abroad, people plant lots of stuff in their gardens.

No mind dem! Tell Nigerians that everyone ought to have even a garden in a bag and they readily come up with a thousand and one reasons why they should not be expected to take some responsibility as far as their existence and needs. lipsrsealed

13million farmers cannot feed 200million people. We need 50-75 million farmers to be fully sufficient.

There are very very rare moments you talk as though you are still capable of reasoning just a tiny little bit but most times, it is the exact opposite. This is one of those moments. Maybe there's still hope; you never can say.

Fulani dey your backyard and front yard and are to blame for why you in particular do not have a garden going to at least grow some of what you need to survive. The supposed 13 million farmers out there in the same Nigeria no get Fulani for their backyard. Na you, and other equally lazy Nigerians such as your person, the Fulanis don make their target. lipsrsealed

You think it is everyone who lives in their owned house or have permission from their landlords to farm?

That's if they even have the space, sometimes the way you talk I just shake my head...

Do you know how many Nigerians living in rented houses without even space to farm?

That you live inside an Ogun village and source your food in the forests like wild animal doesn't mean all Nigerians should live like you.

I think a more important question here is where you get the idea that you cannot have a garden(farm)if you live in a rented space. undecided
