Seun:

The Ivorians seem to penetrate our defence with ease from their left side. I suspect our right-back. sad

And they have scored a second goal. Why couldn't we just hold possession??

Who is the creature with the number 2 jersey. They were just pushing him around until they scored.
It doesn't matter whether it's through the no 2 or 3
What is happening is called the overload in football.
You can see that three players are actually attacking from that wing. The problem is that we dey up to defend deep. That's what gives CIV the leverage to overload on one of our wings

If we were attacking like this since, ivoryy coast would have not dared to overcommit players to score 2.

The coach Left the Midfield too late. The midfield wasn't doing much controlling of the midfield nor creating much for the forwards.

Anyways, The wing forwards could try unsettling the Ivory midfielders opposite
them and ivory defence, especially the fullbacks by constantly pressing them. If they're not getting much chances from Nigeria midfield, they could try pressing to make them cough up possession. While Osimhen press the central defence. I would have said Iwobi should press Seri but he was likely to do that.. Now that he's subbed out, someone should press Seri, he's the one who controls the midfield.

Playing a final against the host nation with no creativity in the middle. Iwobi can't even
slide tackle to win a ball. Something a 39yr old modric dey for club and country. "War is deception" coach didn't have no new tricks in the hat.
