Nigeria coach usually don't have plan B, Nigeria have very decent players to win this afcon.he so much depends on a single player, south Africa exposed his weakness .why keeping osimhem, iwobi on the field when you know the are not fit . which country even plays without a midfielder

Tinubu can't stand 90 mins watching the match. His pampers need change.
Ivory Coast president Ouatara and his wife were at the stadium all through the match.

Adingra was dealing with Aina as if he is Vinicious Junior

Am so so disappointed 😞 with Aina

Adingra was at a different level from Aina.

The coach killed our game with his defensive approach.

The ivorian couldn't shoot thier way to goal at first, then they switch to wings and pull out which broke the defence due to zonal marking by Nigerian team.
It was just a matter of time, before the pressure breaks the wall..There was no bite from the nigerian team until they conceded.

Useless team and coach. The team wobbled and fumbled to the final but was finally exposed as frauds las las. No Nigerian should cry, we were outplayed and outcoached. Glad we celebrated very well on Wednesday rather than waiting to do that today:-)

But you guys were expecting them to win......

Iwobi is the dark horse in the Nigerian team. No creative passes, dribbling, very idiotic player.
No through pass to Osimhen since the beginning of this tournament.
I thought I was the only one seeing him play. I wonder why he wasn't removed in the first half. FYI, I never liked his pattern of play from day one. Seeing him feature in this tournament was a surprise to me. Osimeh just came to show his half form. My kudos goes to Nwabali and our boy Lukmon, for taking us thus far. Ekong tried too.

Iwobi's passes are either not accurate or too short. He's an overrated player. Aina too didn't do well. He fumbled big time.

Above all kudos to the entire team cos I didn't expect them to hit finals. They were so annoying at the beginning.

To all those supporting this fake government, I hail oo.. Where's tinubu in the stadium? Shebi una talk say him go land there nii. Lying is your surname. Shame!!! shocked

Judging by the way they have played throughout the tournament and the way they are currently playing, which of these two teams deserves to represent Africa as African champions?

I want check something.

Cote d'ivoire deserve it. They were the better side and will represent Africa better in the international stage. Nigeria was good throughout the tournament but they should do better next time. They still have scores to settle with South Africa later this year in June.

This coach just compounded the pains of Nigerians tonight with his stupid selection....

Why start chukwueze over Simon when you have used Simon to win your matches before?? °°

Why defend against a team you beat before?

See how he made a mess of himself.....

See the way we were defending against them as if it was man city playing against enyimba.....

Iwobi has no business in that team!!!!

He should not be starting... Useless boy

Actually,

We gave CIV this final even before the game started!

Everything you said here was what I said.

Even from the 60th mins, I was fuming for the coach to remove Iwobi and put Alhassan.

Bring in Terrem Mofi.
Play and hold ball rather than this onesided aerial ball always being delivered to Osimhen and will end up being collected.

Our possession no dey reach 30s, they don collect am back from us again.

This is a real fairytale story for CIV.... from hoping on other teams to mess up to qualify ... they always came from behind and Nigeria never learnt .... South Africa Ghana Cameroon Kenya go laff us tire... oshimhen oshimhen, I no see wetin dat one de play
Infact the Super Eagles were playing like they were forced to play the finale game. No urgency at all....very lackadaisical in front of goal.

Nigeria must sack José Peseiro now he can't read the game.

This has to be the most hopeless performance from Nigeria. Nigeria's performance against SA and CIV has been disappointing.

Is anyone expecting Nigeria to win before
I didn't and wasn't convinced because the country is in disarray!
Also why did PBAT travel to Abidjan??
For what?
He didn't address the country's woes and he is expecting Nigeria to win!
This country is finished entirely!
So that is just it,if we had won now,it doesn't change anything at all!
Remember, are you expecting those guys to come back with the cup on parade and then something happened or.maybe they are attacked by God forbid any terror acts?
In such a dangerous time as this, let's just thank God we lost!
IAM not surprised at all!
Weldone Nigeria, but Nigeria back home is finished already!
Don't expect anything than God's judgment on all the evil monarchies ruling the already collapsed country

CONGRATULATIONS TO IVORY COAST.

HOME SUPPORT AND DODGY OFFICIATING GAVE THEM A BIG ADVANTAGE.

PESEIRO WAS A BIT TOO DEFENSIVE IN HIS TACTICS.

WELL DONE TO OUR SUPER EAGLES.

YOU MADE US PROUD AT THE AFCON, WITH MEMORABLE VICTORIES OVER SOUTH AFRICA, IVORY COAST, AND CAMEROON.

WELL DONE BOYS, AND BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME.
