Congrats to Nigeria for a good run, Beating SA was the height to me, apparently, CAF wanted Ivory Coast to win it at all cost so for that I say congrats to Ivory Coast. I dont think the coash used a strong starting line up but hey, we move!

Leave CAF out of it. We Don start again with conspiracy theories

The problem is the coach defensive style. Over defensive in all the games. In this game Nigeria sat back right from the first half absorbing pressure the midfield Iwobi was not pressuring and pressing, it is only Oyeanka that does the pressing yet he left Iwobi for a very long time before replacing.Besides Iwobi is not used to playing deep the way he used him.
If he continues with this defensive play in the world cup qualifiers am afraid Nigeria might not qualify.

Tinubu bad luck.

To beat a home team in the finals, you have to be spectacular and exceptional.

Iwobi, Zaidu and co. were not. The second goal from the Ivorians was a final-worthy spectacular goal. That's the kind of goal that separates true winners from happy-go-lucky mediocres like Nigeria.

Iwobi is hardly ever fit to give proper offensive passes, rather he is an expert at losing the ball to the opposition and then start running like a headless chicken. In 2013, our spectacular man was Sunday Mba, in 1994 it was Amokachi, JayJay, Yekini, in the 1980 final, it as Odegbami and co.

No member of the team is spectacular, just a bunch of averages and mediocres. Mention one spectacular man in this team. Zilch!

Look at Aina and his selense football upfield, he go trap ball, come dey give space between him and ball, hungry opponent go collect am.

Finally, Nigeria is a home of injustice where election riggers are rewarded, corrupt judges and crooks take bribes in broad daylight and sell justice to the highest bidder. INEC official write results in hotel rooms and the courts consecrate the result..

A common man is dying of poverty, yet filled with tribalism and hate for another tribe. God cannot reward such a country with victory. 2013 was during GEJ's time, before the dogs, baboons and vultures took over the seat of power. There will no national glory till justice prevails.

This is not how Nigeria played the entire tournament. They actually came out today with the intent to defend and play long ball to Osimhen. No build up, did not even have the energy or tenacity to counter. I'm not pointing at one player, the tactical approach was flawed completely. Moses Simon is a player that the other team actually has to worry about and you refuse to start him. There's no way any team can absorb that much pressure and not concede goals, no matter how strong your defense is.

Oh well, back to Tinubu matters.

CONGRATLATIONS TO IVORY COAST.

HOME SUPPORT AND DODGY OFFICIATING GAVE THEM A BIG ADVANTAGE.

PESEIRO WAS A BIT TOO DEFENSIVE IN HIS TACTICS.

WELL DONE TO OUR SUPER EAGLES.

YOU MADE US PROUD AT THE AFCON, WITH MEMORABLE VICTORIES OVER SOUTH AFRICA, IVORY COAST, AND CAMEROON.

WELL DONE, AND BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME.

THE OFFICIATING WAS GOOD

THE THING IS WE NEVER PLAYED WELL

IMAGINE JUST ONE SHOT ON TARGET FOR 90MINUTES

The low budget Jose Mourinho, Portuguese coach finally nailed it. This is the worst performance have seen by the Super Eagles in a final. That coach no deserve one bit of contract renewal.

Kudos to the Ivorians, they were by far the better side 👏 👏🇨🇮🇨🇮
