Great example...! Unbelievable, but well deserved.

A very humble and resilient team.

I am so proud of the Ivorians.
they really deserve it but it will be tough on osihmen and lookman, troost ekong, those guys also played their heart out at this tournament

This coach just compounded the pains of Nigerians tonight with his stupid selection....

Why start chukwueze over Simon when you have used Simon to win your matches before?? °°

Why defend against a team you beat before?

See how he made a mess of himself.....

See the way we were defending against them as if it was man city playing against enyimba.....

Iwobi has no business in that team!!!!

He should not be starting... Useless boy

Honestly, The coach is a Fool

I don't even understand the useless formation he used for the match. The midfield was empty. Only osimhen was during all the job. The coach is an Idiot.

The players too are daft. They're so lazy to mark and attack. They play so low and extremely slow

Useless team and coach. The team wobbled and fumbled to the final but was finally exposed as frauds las las. No Nigerian should cry, we were outplayed and outcoached. Glad we celebrated very well on Wednesday rather than waiting to do that today:-)

Once again congrats to the host. The rejected stone finally became the chief cornerstone.

Omo I dey wait for the dragging from our noisy but entertaining neighbors. They know themselves.
For those that died watching the semi finals, my condolences.

Unfortunately, the cup didn't come home as an honour.

Let me confess small, I had a little tension from that Semi final. But you see this final, despite the goal lead and all the happened later, there was zero tension.
The better team was Ivory Coast.
♥️♥️

Tinubu bad luck.

To beat a home team in the finals, you have to be spectacular and exceptional.

Iwobi, Zaidu and co. were not. The second goal from the Ivorians was a final-worthy spectacular goal. That's the kind of goal that separates true winners from happy-go-lucky mediocres like Nigeria.

Iwobi is hardly ever fit to give proper offensive passes, rather he is an expert at losing the ball to the opposition and then start running like a headless chicken.

No member of the team is spectacular, just a bunch of averages and mediocres.

Look at Aina and his defence football upfield, he go trap ball, come dey give space between him and ball.

I think Ekong was spectacular…

Apart from useless Aina, I blame the coach as well. He should not have started Chukwueze and should have replaced Aina with someone else.

The small boy that played against Aina today almost killed his career today.

They were using that wing throughout the game and our coach has no answer to that.

Aina was terrible today or should I say that ivory Coast boy was fantastic.

This little boy from Ivory Coast is my man of the match

I blame we Nigerians for putting too much pressure on them.

it's not ainas fault, its d coach. The fool refused to rotate his players. He played them every single minute even till extra time. The boys dem try abeg. Aina, Bassey, iwobi, Bookman were all tired bro. It was bound to happen

I mean if the Super Eagles lost this game after playing so well & were just unlucky, that would be a different case but they were horrendous....probably their worse game this tournament.
