CONGRATULATIONS TO IVORY COAST.

HOME SUPPORT AND DODGY OFFICIATING GAVE THEM A BIG ADVANTAGE.

PESEIRO WAS A BIT TOO DEFENSIVE IN HIS TACTICS.

WELL DONE TO OUR MIGHTY SUPER EAGLES.

YOU MADE US PROUD AT THE AFCON, WITH MEMORABLE VICTORIES OVER SOUTH AFRICA, IVORY COAST, AND CAMEROON.

Spirit of sportsmanship. Home advantage is very key. I don talk am from day 1, if Ivory coast fit scale through to final. Naa them get the cup.

WELL DONE BOYS, AND BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME.

Instead of picking players to blame, we should blame the coach. We played too deep right from the start of the match. At the beginning of the second half, we should have come out to play for the first 20 minutes before playing deep since we were leading. It was inevitable that they would score looking at the pressure and home support. Overall, the boys tried their best. All of them. We should appreciate their effort.

Where is that guy who said Iwobi is the best midfielder for SE?
The Ivorians dominated the midfield. Iwobi should not be invited again. Let the coach/NFF scout for creative midfielders. You can't have someone like Osimhen and do not feed him balls

I will use my last card to sue Nepa. I will never waste my money on N670/litre this night and be paying Nepa bills when you bring it four times a month.

I will never do that.

The Ivorian studied our tactics, read it well and used it against us. Osimhen was busy urging the boys to attack but the coach was too adamant on inviting pressure on his defence line. We've got attacking talents but they were not utilized. I just love Guardiola and any coach that attacks

Heheheheeh
I predicted Nigeria would lose.

They don't know how to play ball.

So, over to u, Who do you blame?

If not for all those penalties, we would’ve exited the tournament long ago. Lesson learned today, we have a team but don’t know how to play shît.

Zero coordination in buildups, always hoping for individual brilliance to score.

Once again defensive football aka Mourinho is an outdated tactic.
Paseiro has no future here playing this kind of football.
The Ivorians were more daring, vibrant...
That's the modern football... Dinosaurs like Paseiro and Mourinho are outdated and can't take you anywhere.
You might get lucky reaching the final, but it's limits will be shown up eventually

The coach is at fault. We were too defensive minded. We sat down too deep. Why not come out and play. When you sit, you invite pressure. Why defend when there is still lot of time to play

The Coach killed this game. If he had made and early sub, game would not have been this way. Well fvk the coach and fck Nigerian government...
He did made early subs cos Chukwueze was subbed off before 60 minutes and then the second sub came few minutes after the cooling break. He did made bad subs though and he got found out by the Ivory Coast’s manager. I never expected the team to get to this stage cos Peseiro is tactically inept and he has just one trick up his sleeve. South Africa exposed his team in the semis. Nigeria’s midfield look lightweight with only Iwobi and Onyeka and Iwobi has been piss poor. With Peseiro our football will be stagnated cos there won’t be any significant progress. He can’t tell me in a country of 200 million he couldn’t find atleast two creative players that are better physically and technically than Iwobi.
