The best time to take them on is now. With Fulani allover the army and Fulani in charge of the north, they are unchallengeable.

They have more enemies now.

Well sir, I accept this title of coward with gratitude and humility because I am keenly aware there is no private militia that can prevail for long in armed conflict against federal troops ordered into battle, and ultimately, the consquence of defeating any given group of Fulani land grabbers all too often leads to suffering a scorched-earth annihilation program implemented by federal troops whose commanders are ALL loyal to the Fulani hegemony that has prevailed in Nigeria's military hierarchy ever since the nation's civil war ended in the early 1970s.

I didn't mean to call you coward, sorry for that. I was only trying to say that anybody who continues to run away from an identified invader or pursuer should be termed thus.

Desertification has turned their homelands of Northern Nigeria into sandy wasteland, so they feel ENTITLED to grab farmland and ripening crops by force of arms all over West Africa.

Desertification can be reversed .. Dubai is your case study

It is good to hear that Islamic terror is being held back in Sernegal, Mali and the Central African Republic, BUT we must bear in mind that the bloodthirsty Russian mercenary WAGNER GROUP is running amok in those countries right now, committing civilian massacres and systematic sexual assaults wherever they go under the guise of fighting terrorists.

One would NOT want Nigeria to become another killing field for the Wagner Group, which would prove to be a fate far worse than even the most pragmatic observer could ever have imagined.

Hmmn bro u do make a point. But Russia isnt as bad and exploitative as the others na (you know who).

As Ilobi Òkè irinja is the hometown of the IGP, I expect security to be beefed up in that area. The herdsmen and their herds are destructive and I believe they must have been warned by the community on their destructive tendencies, as they refused to heed the community warnings, the people had to take the law into their hands by eliminating the herders. I prayed the herders won't now mobilize to attack the community because that's their stock in trade. I hope the people living in that area are not sleeping with their 2 eyes closed.

Those of us who frequent rural areas of Nigeria and have experienced tense encounters with machete-wielding Fulani herdmen who never hesitate to approach and verbally challenge even those carrying hunter's guns, know first hand that these hungry looking men masqerading as cattle herdsmen have absolutely NO fear of guns and NO hesitance to engage in violent confrontation over land access disputes, be they real or instigated by the Fulanis themselves.

With this utterly fearless, land-grabbing warrior mindset of the Fulani culture foremost in mind, I can state as a matter of absolute certainty that in the near future of less than 3 months, a disproportionately MASSIVE and gratuitously blood-soaked nighttime armed reprisal will be launched by rampaging hordes of vengeful Fulani gunmen, possibly supported by Nigerian federal troops, laying to waste and ruination any or all inhabited farm settlements within a 3-mile radius of the location where the tortured bodies of several Fulani men were discovered. If I were a long-term resident of ANY location in Nigeria where murders of Fulani men have been committed, I would abandon my residence and move FAR away for at least a good calendar year.

Buhari sent some officials to Denmark to learn about ranching. They came back and gave him report with pictures, videos and tricks of how it is done in the west. But due to the ulterior design to spread his religion via dominance, he opted for ruga.

We they just step a destroy people’s farm nko ? Is it a reprisal attack too ?
You have got what I'm driving at. Cattle destroy farms. Farmers attack herdsmen. Herdsmen retaliate. And the cycle of violence continues. Meanwhile, many state governments like Osun state has this dispute resolution arrangement in place where when cattle destroy farms, farmer seeks redress and herdsmen community are made to compensate the victim. Through that, no killings, no retaliation, no cycle of violence

Sneakiness has always been an integral aspect of the Fulani approach to conflict. With my hunting shotgun at the ready I found myself TWICE accosted by Fulani men holding razor sharp cutlasses while I was out hunting for antelope in grassland. In both of those instances, I was faced with the horrible dilemma of whether I should spontaneously commit murder with my shotgun to save manyself from being hacked to death by a babbling lunatic with a huge sharp cutlass that rushed up to me and fired questions in a language I did not understand.

Fortunately in both cases I retained the presence of mind to parrot the phrase taught to me in the Fulani language for such scenarios. Pointing behind the cuttlass wielding men I intoned the caution that "Ogaajo nowarra badda", which means "The boss is approaching from over there, behind you." When the men turned back to look for the imaginary "boss" I had invoked, I hastily backed off with my weapon ready to go, smiling and waving in a jovial friendly manner to discourage any continuation of the frightening encounter.

No sir, this resort to torture and murder of Fulani men will only trigger a CYCLE of massacres and reprisals that will ultimately be quelled when battle-kitted federal troops are deployed to fight alongside and in direct tactical support of the Fulani farmland-grabbers posing as cattle herdsmen.

The Fulani NEVER forget an attack on their kin, but they are methodical and cunning when planning their revenge options, with the only common denominator of those reprisals being that mass sudden death will come calling for unsuspecting people in rural areas AT NIGHT.

This type of thinking is the reason these mindless killers do what they do. "Fulanis never forget"
They come to your community, kill people for no reason but you will rather run away than to fight back because Fulanis never forget?
This is a very very sad way to live.

Perhaps you didn't notice my repeated mention in this discussion of the fact that Nigerian army federal troops are just a phone call away for those invading herdsmen, many of whose crop-devouring cow herds actually belong to high ranking Nigerian Army officers who have a strong vested interest in grabbing prime farmland all over the West African seaboard from Nigeria to Senegal and Gambia.
