Kog45: SE coaches will say Akinsanmiro and Eletu are too young. SE haven't given Onyedika, Tijani any chance and Yusuf until this tournament wasn't invited. Once Ndidi recovers the SE coaches will send Onyeka to the bench instead of playing a midfield of iwobi, Onyeka and Ndidi they won't invite one of Onyeka, Onyedika or Yusuf after this AFCON anymore. 1 Like |

If we address some of the changes that many of you have briliantly mooted on this forum in due time, we can make a Senegal-esque comeback and win the next edition. It is totally possible with this squad. 1 Like |

The two have a share of the blame more so JP cause he didn't do enough to scout for new midfielders. Nwabali that he discovered na fight cos left to him Uzoho would have been in goal. Rohr for all his faults always tried bringing in and integrating fresh players. I mean you took a player like Bruno and Raphael to a tournament and didn't give them minutes are they that bad? komekn: 1 Like |

safarigirl:The players gave their all. Peseiro made the selection of players. Peseiro decided the game plan and managed the game. Peseiro can't give what he does not have. The NFF takes the whole blame. Let them right their wrongs by giving us a good coach and paying salaries when due. |

komekn: I even felt Aina did well against Adingra despite being left alone against him without the wing forward helping him out while Ivory's midfield controlled the play and constantly set free their wingers. Despite that, Aina ensured Adingra was reduced to only crossing few times but like you stated, Aina was left alone against him without much help from the wing forward in front of him. If the midfield had controlled the play, ivory would have been reduced to nothing and wouldn't have worried Nigeria's defence much. The defence failed to deal with the corner kick set piece and a late cross before Haller's goal. |

I will not completely rule out Raphael and Bruno because they have not been given a fair run to prove how good or 'useless' they are. Not sure if Olise will play for SE but Tosin will be a great addition. Who's Dorgu. forgiveness: 1 Like |

Nigeria just need a midfielder who can control the play. That was what turned it around for Ivory coast for example (Seri). I don't know who can do that for Nigeria. But I feel Aribo can. He did that in the last afcon for example. He also controlled much of the play against Guinea Bissau although he wasn't audacious by creating much like he did in the last afcon, considering it was his first start in the tournament however, he controlled the play while Guinea Bissau could only feed on little scrap before he left the pitch. Another I feel can do such is Onyedika since he's a holding midfielder who tends to provide passing option for the defence as a holding midfielder. So both combo should be able to control the play at least. 2 Likes |

Nothing anybody wan tell me! Super Eagles 🦅 have made me proud! We need to build on this squad unity we've unlocked 🔓 at this AFCON, at least the boys no dey play selfish games again. 95% of Nigerians didn't expect them to cross the group stages, and they got to the finals! No need to blame anybody. I don block two people wey drop laughing emojis for my WhatsApp after I posted "nice tournament boys, we move" God bless real fans of the Super Eagles, not wereyyyy punters that'll come and pour frustrations on people they can't talk to if they meet face to face. 🇳🇬🦅🥈⚽ 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Meliforme:So what was Iwobi's role the then? I'm sure JP and the entire team would be glad if Iwobi at least tried to engage himself in the midfield. He was just shying away from duels. How often do you even see Iwobi do that. The guy is just overrated. Prime Iwobi was far better Our defense was helpless all game. Midfield was zero. Osimhen was purely starved. No presence and stability in midfield. Iwobi was just like a shadow. I doubt this would have happened if Alhassan and Chuks were brought in earlier. 1 Like |
