There's also the factor of Ryan and Jackman having some creative control over the movie and their characters.

Marvel still has a great deal of work to do to get their cinematic universe back on track.

Anyhow, the franchise is a solid one. With great character development, nice writing & cinematography and premium good action to boot. It's a cinematic gold.

Enter Thelonious "Monk" Ellison, an actual professor, writer and an upper-class black man, who wrote a satirical book about how stereotypical black man are perceived, you know, been to jail, have 2 or 3 baby mamas, dealing drugs etc, you know "The whole stereotypical black man shindig", only for the book to be taken seriously by white liberals who actually think all black people are like this and the success of any black man is tied to these stereotypes.

Jeffery Wright delivers supreme performance for the ages, and totally deserves the Oscar nod but tho this movie is an archy-type Oscar bait, i can't for the life of me phantom why it is in the running for best picture. "it is looks like a diversity inclusion imo"

First the MCU set the record when the final Avengers Endgame trailer came out with 289 million views in the first 24 hours, then it broke the record with the Spiderman No Way Home trailer with 355 million views and I thought that was unbreakable but here we are. God-tier shit from the MCU back to back. Gold standard.
