The heatwave nor be here. My room was 37c this afternoon. Enugu to be precise.

No electricity to power the air conditioner. I almost die last night for heat and mosquito.

The light show up now but not stable

It's drop to 36.1 C after I power the air conditioner. The humidity is 37%,

This heat is a sign of rain coming soon.

Is there heat in your location?
This is as a result of a wide crack in the ozone layer

In the coming years some inhabitants in some continents will be roasted and burned by severe heat from the 🌞

You aren't making any sense. I wrote the business plan for the captive power project that they used for the Alaoji power station in Aba. The generation and distribution are top-notch. We took it to Abuja and after the presentation during Fashola's time as Minister for Power, they didn't respond further, only for the project to kick start in Aba.

Here is the computer model I made for the presentation to the Government.

Yes because you don't like the idea of cost reflective tarrifs.

Your opinion.

A reasonable government will use this period to fix the roads and the drainages but not ours.

Once the rain starts it will be another Shege pro-max. The flood with its usual catastrophic effect will continue the cycle from the heat.

I dey go China next week, make dem design clothes wey go dey cool body temperature or cap wey go dey fan from head to toe.

😂 The heatwave is really hitting hard here in Rivers state. For some nights now,I have been sleeping outside on the balcony of our flat, because power outage often occurs then.
I wonder how the heat would be like in Niger state now.
When I was still there as a corper around the first quarter of 2023, the heat there was so terrible that even if you take a cooling bath in the afternoon, sweat would immediately break out on the skin after drying out.

This is a business plan that requires no government subsidy. The law says you can't generate or distribute without an FG permit. As the Operations Director of PSPDC, I came up with a plan and all I needed was a government permit and a guarantee to allow for foreign investment but the files are still in Abuja waiting for approval.

But on the national scale there is a subsidy and a lack of cost reflective tarrifs.

Until that is fixed, no light.

Does it have batteries?

The heat is too much , the rate at which I sweat is alarming … if not for AC ehn …
What I do is to run gen and on AC when I’m back from work till around eleven at night, although I’ll ensure I shower before then … so if I off the gen the room will be so so cool, then I’ll on my solar fan overnight so by the fan will begin to generate heat , it’s dawn already…

I swear It’s not easy . Heat no dey self I dey sweat like mad..

The problem is not the charge per kilowatt of electricity but the lack of constant supply. In sulphonation, delicate medical surgeries, in theaters, etc companies and hospitals don't use NEPA but generators because power failure is catastrophic hence the cost isn't the problem as the bills for private, commercial, and companies are charged differently. What can't you understand?

The high cost of generation and distribution has nothing to do with the consumers and companies alike. The business model presently used in Nigeria is faulty and costly hence a rip-off.

I have a solution as an expert with experience spanned over decades. We want to challenge the existing system and you have to support us. Thanks.

The same mentality of an average Nigerian and our leaders. There are millions of his likes in Nigeria, if someone don't care or feel for those around him as ordinary citizen, don't expect him to care of masses when he attain power.

Why would your leaders bothered when they can easily enjoy 24 hours light in their homes and offices. The biggest problem of Nigeria are Nigerians.
