At the beginning of January, #MadridCFF rejected an offer of €400K from an NWSL club, according to @david_menayo.
Now, there are new rumours surrounding Racheal Kundananji, who according to our information has already left Madrid. Her release clause is said to be €700K.

Lol. Is she trying to force a move? She should better rest.

It’s probably an offer she can’t turn down, again the NWSL pay way higher than the European side as it seems

The NWSL minimum salary for 2023 is $36,400.. Additionally, the league has instituted a $2,750,000 salary cap to be used for a 22-26 player roster for the 2024 season.

There’s War for NWSL defenders, how do they cope with this pace, Power and finishing of Asisat Oshoala and Racheal Kundananji… Couple with the Skills of that Mexico Winger??

As reported, the Zambian 🇿🇲 international joins Bay FC from Madrid CFF and signs a contract with the NWSL club until the end of 2027 with an option for a further year.
According to the media reports, the transfer fee is about €735K + add-ons.

Zambia striker Rachael Kundananji enters the world record books, joining the list of African stars arriving in the #NWSL📚 - one notable omission from the Africa Women's Player of the Year shortlist.

Zambia international joins @NWSL side @wearebayfc on a record fee of 875,000 dollars from @MadridCFF for 5-year deal.

The 23-year-old, is set to earn $2.5million and will join the NWSL club in San Jose after Zambia's @Olympics qualifying match vs Ghana.

I've been waiting for that transfer for a week, since they announced that she didn't want to renew her contract.

This is going to be interesting. Defences need to be very careful.

That's 500k yearly. Pretty big impact on their salary cap.

Are we sure this Bay FC won't contend this season? Looking good so far

On paper right now Bay FC Squad is a top 4 club in the NWSL, all they need right now is for the Coach to bring out the best possible Line Up and how they can gel together real quick…

Racheal Kundananji (RW) Asisat Oshoala (CF) and Scarlett Camberos (LW) upfront… Racheal and Camberos can switch flanks Infact the 3 of them can switch during game time…. Racheal Hill as Substitute…

Deyna Castellanos behind the front three and play two Doubles Pivot in Midfield mainly to clean up things as those 3 upfront are very quick..

Jen Beattie can pair with any of the other two NWSL seasoned CB’s… with Dydasco at RB..

But I heard in one of this regular podcast that the Coach is planning on playing 3-5-2 formation…

Guy on Paper their Squad is a Contender, like they have the money to lure everyone down there, Maybe Sandra Panos next once she finishes this Season with Barcelona, but again they just signed Canada 3rd choice goalkeeper few days ago

There's also been rumours about Panos since Oshoala's move and her announcement that she'll leave Barca at the end of the season has added fuel to the fire.

Spaniards are complaining that their league doesn't have the money to compete with the NWSL and that they might be facing a decline.

Barcelona are on Financial crisis right now, they still haven’t renewed Alexia Contract yet because of what she’s asking for and NWSL are after her real quick, Lucy Bronze have been asked to reduce her salary a little bit just to renew and I don’t see that happening… The had to accept Oshoala move real quick if not they will be at the losing end if she had left by the end of the season for Free…
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 6:53pm On Feb 13
This is the minimum they earn in Spain 🇪🇸…

A minimum wage of €22,500 (£19.3k/$24.1k) has now been agreed upon for the current season, and €23,500 (£20.2k/$25.2k) for 2025-26.

While as of 2023 minimum salary in the NWSL is $36,400

Imagine the over $10k Difference

They just need to work on the tactical aspect of their game to earn that no.1 they have been claiming till date fair and square cause everyone sees the NWSL as a league that is mainly focused on Athleticism..

I don’t get it… She doesn’t worth it? Or is Bay Fc that were willing to pay for what Madrid CFF demanded for to release her..

She doesn't worth ½ the money they paid for her , they are too desperate

She’s Young and her Athleticism will be very useful for Bay FC.. They were desperate for top players and RK is way above average as a Forward…

Camberos, Racheal and Oshoala upfront is just too deadly, they just need good Midfielders and full backs to do the needed supplies

Because Bay Fc posted Kundananji and the rest doesn’t mean she wasn’t invited, why not wait for the List to be made public first…

Even the likes of Atletico Madrid, Stade de Reims, Paris FC, UDG Tenerife and Co haven’t even posted any of our players for National team duties as they usually do…

Tochukwu Oluehi will be 37yrs by May 2nd, Yewande Balogun will be 35 this year too…. WE NEED Younger Goalie within (19-25) that can stand in for Chiamaka Nnadozie or even give her a tough Competition for her Spot.. The First Choice is hers but I don’t want her to be too comfortable…

Onyinyechi Okeke, Mgbechi Anderline U20, Faith Omilana U20 and the rest of Nigeria Female Goalkeeper around the World need to step up🆙

Football is psychological. Once your opponent feels superior, it is game over. And superiority only happens when you let them take charge of the game. You can not allow your opponent to freely dominate and only hope on absorbing pressure.
You must attack 30% at least. If you want to defend a goal lead, defend it to the latter. If you let your opponent equalize while you're playing a defensive game, there's a 60-70% chance that you will lose. It is an unwritten rule..

You see that thing they did to Osimhen? It's a Nightmare to any No.9 You will actually become useless as a striker. You're in that helpless state where you're only hoping for a loose ball or mistake from the defenders.
You just keep running and pressing, you can't even play... Long balls to a striker that is fighting with 2 CBs with nobody to fight for second balls. Setting up a Double Pivot Midfield with just one DM (Onyeka) instead of two or 1DM and CM or a Box2Box Midfielder. Ndidi and Onyeka would have done the job well. Iwobi was too soft 4 d Job.. Reason you need an Ucheibe and Ayinde in such role..

The truth is Randy Waldrum is far more tactically sound than josé peseiro which he proved at the World Cup last year...! The Pairing of Onyeka and Iwobi in Midfield was more like pairing Ayinde and current Rita Chikwelu in Midfield, and the job will fall on Ayinde trying to cover more for Rita who isn’t at that level again. One of the reasons we struggled in the past until Randy got it right…
I agree with everything except where you said Iwobi was too soft. He was played out of position and still have his best. Moreso, the formation and tactic employed by the coach doesn't favour the attacking players.
