OZIOGU1:Even though their comments were rude, they are partially correct! There was absolutely nothing special about your wife doing in your post. Every family is managing in this economy, so no family is spending extravagantly in this period, except the wealthy. It would have been quite different, if u stated your wife was the one providing for the family, then it becomes worthy of praise. Your case is just the typical life of an average married man anywhere in the country. 8 Likes 1 Share |

OZIOGU1:Those kind of person are dysfunctional Come from dysfunctional homes They strongly prefer baby daddy, baby mama, children out of wedlock, single mummy than a proper marriage. So that is the reason he is reacting like that. He has not experienced real love like this, he is not capable of giving and receiving real or true love. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Kajaard:you're expecting otherwise? Like his wife is cheating on him, sleeping around or with neighbor, fighting him and his family bla bla bla right? I understand some of you men are raised in a dyfunctional home, but trust me you guys can make changes. You think all these men living happily with their spouses all came from good and loving home? Far from it. Some of them came from bad home like some of you guys but they chose to make changes to live a better life. If you wouldn't say this kind of comments if a man should brought his wife matter to nairaland that she's sleeping around or fighting him, then you're a big disgrace to humanity and a very big shame on you and your likes 10 Likes 1 Share |

I estimate you to be 24 or less. At that age you think you know everything. You believe you are wiser than all those who are older than you. Lol The days are soon coming when you will realise that the entire body of knowledge you have cannot even begin to resolve the issues of your life. I can tell that you first heard the word simp on Nairaland not long ago and haven't bothered to research beyond a few kid's description of what the word means. I know you have not read any of Ubunja's Miseducations otherwise you may have risen above your childish understanding of what a simp is. For avoidance of doubt, a simp is a man who is unaware that he is being completely manipulated by the women in his life- whether Mother, Wife, Sister or Daughter. A simp is unaware that the female gender are the most manipulative creature that God ever made with the possible exception of the Cat. A simp has no means to ward off manipulation for he isn't even aware it is happening. A simp is not a man who commends his wife for prudently managing resources in the midst of the greatest hardship Nigerians have ever experienced in our history. Despite claims to the contrary, women are not automatically wise and prudent allocators of resources. They are prone to social pressure, comparisons and low self esteem which leads them to buy expensive things in attempts to boost their poor self image. A good manager of resources should be commended- regardless of their gender. Reading your write up I can also tell you are unmarried. Don't ask me how I know. tochez24: 6 Likes |

OZIOGU1:After going through this, the only place you made a mistake is the last paragraph. The first and second paragraph is good and a way of advising bachelor's on the importance of choosing a home builder and supportive wife. The other things you wrote is not necessary, it makes you look childish. 3 Likes 1 Share |
