[quote author=komekn post=128482336] I commend and appreciate your humility and ability to change your position in the face of the facts. I Appreciate you this is how discussion should be, not emotional 😞 prejudice and abuse. You presented a discourse of untruths saying Aribo is struggling to get on the bench, you casted aspersions on the Championship implied in your diction. Saying he needed to get into a first tier league before he can be considered. Tell me a second tier league where the top performers are courted by the best teams in the world.❓ You ommited the fact that KC and Ndidi play in the championship ,that's double standard and prejudice. In addition KC is seriously struggling in the Championship and is out of form. like I said Aribo needs to do better and fight for his place at Southampton. Once again you conveniently ignored my point about how Peseiro benched Aribo (who is supposed to be a #10) almost throughout the AFCON. What other convincing do you need that this guy has fallen off? Ndidi has been mostly injured yet has registered more goals and assists than Aribo (even with less appearances for Leicester), so what exactly is your point? NDIDI has looked better and much more improved in a Leicester team that are in good standing to gain promotion soon. Lastly I've never advocated for the inclusion of "KC" if you mean Kelechi Iheanacho, personally I think Iheanacho is a deadweight just like Aribo, Musa etc and is only living off "experienced player tax"...a serious coach who wants to build a competitive team shouldn't be inviting players like Iheanacho, Musa, Aribo, Omeruo etc when we have the likes of Nathan Tella Gift Orban, Adams Akor etc all in their prime and playing their best level of football. Football shouldn't be about "na my guy be that", but about merit. 1 Like |

I wasn’t implying he cannot move there today and outperform those yiu listed. For Osimhen is not a matter of any club considering his profile. And I don’t want him to move to the current Chelsea. Modified The EPL is considered as the best league for 3 straight seasons according to the UEFA Country coefficient.. We can make arguments based on our preferences all day in the absence of objectivity. . Marjoribanks: 1 Like |

The current Chelsea team do dominate team and create loads of chances. If he goes there, he will definitely shine. The EPL has only few elite defenders. Osimhen will walk over that league! Joebie: 1 Like |

I do hope they extend his contract! 343/352 is a good formation for our team. Without that formation we won't get to the final. That is the simple truth. We just need to find an energetic and skillful player to play the Iwobi role and we will be fine. The Iwobi guy killed us in that final. He just allowed Kossonou to walk into our territory to take a shot that resulted in the corner kick the Ivorians scored from. Such a lazy player! Inter Milan is using 352 to win the Seria A. Napoli has switched to 343 too. elyte89: 1 Like |

I don’t have a preferred team in the EPL, but even die hard Chelsea fans know their current team is unpredictable. Osimhen deserves a top team that has the potential to win the league and possibly Champions League. Where are the suitors that can offer that? He will shine in PSG. Let him use that to launch himself to where he belongs. Marjoribanks: |

I’m divided about JP. Yes, he took us to a final, but his in game management is still a tad lacking to me and the time he takes to switch up things is too long. It shouldn’t have take until the AFCON to move to a back three and stabilize our defense. I also worry he sets the team up too defensively. Playing Iwobi as a holding midfielder will never work. If you do a 3-4-2-1, play him as one of the two supporting strikers. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Marjoribanks: Iwobi is not a holding MF oooo. That was the fault of the coach playing him in that role. A 3-5-2 where Iwobi plays in front of a midfield pairing of Ndidi/Onyeka or Onyeka/Yusuf would be fine. It’s like putting Osimhen at RB and expecting him to perform like Ola Aina. Different profile of player than what is needed in the role 5 Likes 1 Share |

Iwobi himself says he prefers playing in the midfield. How can you be a footballer and be so lazy. Is Kousonnou a midfielder but he pushed the ball up to help his team while your Iwobi could not even press nor block the shot. How is that the coach's fault? This same Iwobi has played right back for Everton before. Which one is more difficult? This attitude is the reason Evertonians despised him until he started putting in efforts. mrwilliams9: 2 Likes 1 Share |

mrwilliams9: So it's the fault of the coach that iwobi cannot press, close down and tackle opposition players What is the job of a footballer Even in Super Falcons the striker Onumonu, Ajibade presses, tackles and closes down players.. It's now iwobi that's a man who is not intentionally closing down and tackling players that you are defending.. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

mrwilliams9: Even if he lost 20-0 at the final, I will still keep him simply because I’m a man of Integrity. The man met his required target, which was a semi-final and you’re suggesting that he should be terminated. As for NFF, they need to start setting higher contractual obligations I.e Win or be fired 10 Likes 1 Share |

The Serbian media are unanimous, Red Star will recruit Victory Beniangba, a 20-year-old center forward who plays in the reserve team of Genk, in the Belgian second division. The red and white will pay 350K € to recruit him. He is expected to be loaned to the Superliga this season. |

In the course of the AFCON, I really felt for Osimhen. Peseiro was literally working against him while selecting the midfielders for the tournament. 1 Like |

lbrichman2: Despite his tactics, osimehn missed couple of sitters and free headers. You guys just don’t want to admit because he is your fave but if it was another player, you would had pounced on that player. Remember, Lookman scored 3 goals in the same team. Osimehn needs to refine his game in order to truly be world class. He has a fighting spirit, a warrior, never say die attitude, hard worker. He just needs refining 7 Likes 2 Shares |
