Nigeria is supposed to have 3 tiers of goverment, FG, State and LGA. Tinubu should also call for a meeting with the LGA chairment, the same way he met with the governors. That will allow him get some grassroot perspective especially on security and food production which will have the ripple effect of endearing him to those chairmen, many of whom will be visiting Aso rock for the first time in their life. |

9jatriot: Do u want to know how useless that meeting would be? LG has no autonomy, hence whatever Tinubu discuss with them is still at the mercy of the governors. |

Well, that could also be the beginning of their liberation from the bondage of their respective state governors. Of course many governors will not like it, they may not even allow some go and when they do, they will all have spys through their loyalist who will come and give them feedback of those that spoke out of tune. But a meeting with LGA chairmen will allow the president have an idea of what is happening in one obscure local government area that even the governor of the state doesn't know about. Deogratiasfx: |

OP you and I knows that 3 tiers of government in Nigeria is a mere formality. We only have 2 tiers partially working. |

My thoughts! The meeting with the governors is much deeper than what we are served through the press. The only governor that has spoken so far is the Borno state Governor, in addition to all he said he requested a for Fasting and prayers. This is deep! |

9jatriot: Has Tinubu finished dealing with the ones he has direct control over? What if he wants to work, i.e if he knows what to do, he doesn't need to necessarily meet LG chairmen that would even see him and the only thing on their minds is how to snap with him |
