There is a huge difference. The Jewish people claimed independence from the Nation of Israel almost 3000 years ago. And their nation was called Judah, not Israel. You need to get it for you to understand the story. That nation was eventually destroyed about 1900 years ago. The nation called Israel that exists today, majorly populated by Jewish people is not the same Israel that existed up until 700BC. Neither is it the same Nation 0f Judah that was destroyed in 70BC. undecided

Evidence of genuine Jewish ownership of the entire land and Lebanon

Do you know the tribe that lived on the land currently occupied by your grandparents' village 2,000 years ago?

Most of the current ethnic groups in Nigeria were formed less than 1,000 years ago, many through migration and conquest. Does it mean that if I have proof my ancestor used to live on your land 2,000 years ago, I can come and kill your family and take their village?

Israel was destroyed around 720 BC by the Assyrians. It ceased to exist as a nation and its inhabitants fled to different continents back then. Judea, Israel's sister Nation, inhabited by the Jewish tribes of Jacob, is the Nation that got erased around 70Bc with Jews fleeing to different continents. undecided
Yeah, it is true that the Assyrians wiped out the ancient kingdom of Israel in 720 BCE, and many of its people were scattered to other places, it makes no sense to say that "Israel stopped being a nation." The destruction of the kingdom of Israel by the Assyrians did not in any way end their national identity.

In fact, the Jewish people carried on as a distinct group with a shared history, etc. Then around 539 BCE, the Persian Empire took over the Babylonian Empire and the Persian Empire let the Jews go back to Judea and rebuild Jerusalem. This period is known as the Second Temple period, and it lasted until the Romans knocked down the Second Temple in 70 CE. During this time, the Jews kept their distinct identity and culture, and were not just swallowed up by the bigger empires that ruled over them.

Even after the destruction of the Second Temple, the Jewish people carried on as a distinct group with a shared history and identity, eventually leading to the creation of the modern state of Israel in 1948.

The statement that "Israel stopped being a nation" is a huge oversimplification on your end.
All I'm saying is the destruction of the ancient kingdom of Israel did not mean the end of the Jewish people as a nation or culture. Got it?

1. You are not at all paying any attention. undecided

Israel was a separate nation from the nation of Judah beginning about 3000 years ago - 940BC, after the death of Solomon. Israel, formerly one nation became two different nations. The country of Israel was destroyed by the Assyrians in 720 BC. However, the Assyrians could not destroy the nation of Judah. In 587 BC, Babylon took Judah captive and the country of Judah remained under captivity until when it was finally laid to waste in 70 AD. undecided

2. The Nation that belonged to the Jewish tribes of Israel was known as Judah. It existed from the time the Jewish tribes left the original Nation of Israel in about 940BC until about 70 AD when it was destroyed by the Romans. undecided

The modem state of Israel is a nation established by people who claim to have been descended from the people who formerly inhabited the Nation of Judah. undecided

3. Dispersal of a people --- original Israel and then the Jewish people--- after the destruction of their Nations ofcourse does not mean the people were all destroyed. If you read the Old Law of Moses, beginning in Deuteronomy 28 vs 15, all through to Deuteronomy 30 vs 6, you will find that the God of Israel Himself promised that they would all be eventually scattered to the four corners of the earth as punishment for their disobedience of His Law. lipsrsealed

Meaning Israel owns everywhere.

Yet only the stubborn terrorists of Gaza feel Israel never existed and shouldn't exist.

They will continue to die at the hands of Israel till the end of the world.

No be me talk am, Na God talk am and I no sey as God talk am it's over for Gaza.

Ok, let's read the bible together

Zephaniah 2:4-5

4 For Gaza shall be destroyed, and Ascalon shall be a desert, they shall cast out Azotus at noonday, and Accaron shall be rooted up.

5 Woe to you that inhabit the sea coast, O nation of reprobates: the word of the Lord upon you, O Chanaan, the land of the Philistines, and I will destroy thee, so that there shall not be an inhabitant.

Now see another one.

Amos 1:6-8

6. Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they carried into exile a whole people to deliver them up to Edom.

7. So I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, and it shall devour her strongholds. 8I will cut off the inhabitants from Ashdod, and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; I will turn my hand against Ekron, and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,” says the Lord GOD.

So at this point no amount of UN resolution, protest from terrorist sympathizers across the world, cry, plea or ICJ ruling can help Gaza.

stop being dump and think,so israel owns palestinians land, so how come are palestine's the ones living in that land

The only established country in your good book is Egypt , Ethiopia ...all these Judah and Israel are equivalent to selected workers, that's why you can easily move artifacts from one location(Africa) to another and name it Israel. This thing is both bliblical and a case of common sense. Israel and Judah are just like united nations.

Isaiah 27:12
In that day from the river Euphrates(Nile) to the Brook of EGYPT, the LORD will thresh out the grain, and you will be gleaned one by one, O PEOPLE of Israel.

they were both jews but different tribes...United kingdom of israel. God punished King of Solomon by removing several kingdoms from this rural house for committing idolatry and marrying plenty foreign wives , After King Solomon the united kingdom of israel divied into kingdom of israel and kingdom of Judah (jerusalem)...but they were all jews. The name israel dissapeared during the roman empire and they renamed that area "palestine". Reason in the new testament you hardly hear "Israel" but more of palestines.

grin Israel was never a nation. There is no recognized map of this world that has Israel on it. It can only be proved from religious records which are often dubious vacuous nebulous fabulous cheesy But Judaea and Samaria were stations of great kings of Judaea Hasmonean etched on the global map by the blood of the Seleucid grin
As for AD 70, check your history, only Jerusalem was destroyed not the the entire Judaea. And there is no record that Judaeans were scattered all over the world as the result of Titus sack of Jerusalem. In addition, Judaeans are never Jews. It’s a huge European lie. The first KJV of 1611 had nothing like JEW inside it. Jews are Europeans and have no connection to Hebrew except that some of them were proselytes to the Judaean religion in the days of the great kings of Judaea before the place became popularly known as Palestine

The thing is , the black people are more reasonable than I thought. They knew Israel was just synonymous to selected worshipers, else, you would have had the name Israel, located in Africa as a country, just like Egypt and Ethiopia.
for whatever reasons, some people just decided to make mockery of history, identity and location...lol

Exo 4
21 The Lord said to Moses, “When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go. 22 Then say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the Lord says: Israel is my FIRSTBORN SON, 23 and I told you, “Let my SON go, so HE may WORSHIP me.” But you refused to let him go; so I will kill your firstborn son.’”

"HE" may "WORSHIP" ( certainly not a country but selected people across countries)
