History will be kind to Tinubu, he'd be remembered as the best president yet Nigeria has had. Restructuring is taking a gradual shape, signing into law the bill for states to generate their own electricity and more to come with the constitutional review we're getting there. -kiss the truth! 90 Likes 3 Shares |

The next should be a bill to shut down the house of reps. It's totally needless. Whatever the house of reps does, the senate should do it. Nigeria should cut down the cost of governance. 52 Likes 1 Share |

Slow and steady we will get to the nation of our dreams. This is a very good Development. We have a population of over 200m people, but we have a police strength that is less than 400,000. State Police should be created to address the internal security challenges of Nigeria Btruth:The truth and nothing but the truth. Just One state's budget in USA is more than the budget of almost 10 African countries combined together including the Giant of Africa! Just imagine that!! mytime24:You are right from the perspective you are coming from also Mytime, We believed that Our politicians are not civilised enough and tolerant of opposing views and cannot preside over a competent and impartial police force Cos we remembered, When in 2018 there was a summit to consider the establishment of State Police, there was a counter argument by the late Abubakar Tsav, a retired police commissioner, that the establishment of state police will signal the beginning of the disintegration of the country, as governors would use the institution against their perceived political opponents. State and federal police commands are also likely to work at cross-purpose. Our additional reasons of concern are that we have very serious ethnic and religious divides in the country at this time and many governors believe that if they have their own police, they can deal with the other. For example, the pastoralists and farmers conflicts have been intensifying in many states and some governors have clear proclivities of seeking to expel or protect pastoralists in their states, opening the doors to a new dimension of identity conflicts that would deepen the crisis facing the Nigerian state today. Some of us at MANNA remembered back then while growing up when we use to have regional/state police back in our darling country, But, native police forces were abolished and they ceased to exist, beginning from February 1968. Nevertheless, existing personnel in these forces were recruited into the Nigerian Police Force as a unitary federal agency of the Nigerian government. This structure has continued to the present day. All said and done, It will bring more good than bad. There are much more merits in this than demerits. A better Nigeria 🇳🇬 all around is all we want at MANNABBQGRlLLS. God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬 🙏 We Rise ✔️ 10 Likes 3 Shares |

They'd better adopt the American model of law enforcement and turn the NPF into a federal organisation like the FBI, ATF, NSA, etc. Otherwise there will be chaos on who has the jurisdiction over criminal cases. I hope they are going to review the criminal code as well. Allow me to inform you, that: 1. Tinubu is either a reptilian or a slave of the lizard 🦎 people. 2. Use cash for all your transactions. Avoid using bank or electronic transfer. You are only making the rich people richer. |

I like Tinubu. He is implementing everything analysts have been crying about for decades. Now no one will campaign with the below three items again. Nigerians have now seen that removing subsidy and floating Naira require lot of doggedness and patience before the said policy can work as our Naira is so weaker than people even thought. Tinubu could be labeled anything but he is the boldest president we’ve had since 1999. Most president cow back for max 1 month after attempting subsidy removal or etc but Tinubu bold and ready to receive all the insult to do what he believes is the best. —Subsisdy removal —Naira floating —State police in the bag 12 Likes 1 Share |

I will cut Tinubu some slack if he eventually assents this bill to allow each state's to own their own police force Enough of sending some poorly trained Northerners to protect the people of the South West when bandits attack us.
