NNPC does swap, gives out Crude oil and collects Petrol..., Diesel ..Aviation fuel.so who collects all the other remaining 9 bi - products that can be obtained from Crude Oil? Who is NNPC really paying Subsidy to if she is only collecting 1 or 3 bi - products from what she gave out as Crude Oil |

Nigeria petrol is the most costly. It's just because of inflation. At when it was 198 it was the most expensive in west Africa. What we were facing it was just inflation. |

NkanuSon: Hoo boy, here we go again Qatar: OIl production is 1.8 million barrels per day, population is 1.2 million Saudi: OIl production is over 10 million barrels per day, population is 40 million. UAE (Dubai is part of it): Oil production is 2.8 million barrels per day, population is 14 million (may be as low as 12 million, mostly expats). NIgeria: oil production right now is 1.5 million barrels per day...population is 220 million. DO the math, and then see the issue. Note that I did not mention Russia...because Russia is an industrial superpower that produces cars, airplanes, heavy weaponry, tanks, components for industries, the best trucks in the world, and a variety of other things. It's not like the others...and yes, they do the tax thing. Oga, those countries have the money to make fuel cheaper because they have the better per capita income. For NIgeria to be like them, we have to have a VASTLY DIVERSIFED ECONOMY, and a better tax to gdp,....then we can talk about direct subsides for petrol. 1 Like |

fineboynl: No, it has always been cheap. All other african nations have paid higher for fuel compared to us. Except Algeria, Angola and Libya. |

Whoever is the author of this piece of shit should be silenced. How can you own oil, produce petroleum products (refined) and still expect to be selling highest in West Africa. I think some people's knowledge is a complete waste , they just learnt English language to set confusion everywhere they go and whenever the opportunity presents itself to type online |
Re: Nigeria Regains Cheapest Petrol In West Africa Title by OredoPikin: 7:21am On Feb 21 |
EcoBrick:This is a wrong calculation The exchange rate is not the same across board You can't be using our exchange rate to calculate their price because they don't spend naira in Liberia Nigeria A dollar to naira = 1606.03 Price of petrol in dollar = 0.39 Price of petrol in naira = 626.5 Liberia A dollar to Liberia dollar = 190.6 Price of petrol in dollar = 1.01 Price of petrol in Liberia dollar = 192.5 So stop misleading the public with wrong statistics Why didn't you use the exchange rate of liberia dollar to calculate and let's see who pay more |

We shall get there. Nigeria was not destroyed in one day, so, no quick fix anywhere. Rome was not built in a day. If you contribute to the destruction, or benefiting from the destruction in one way or the other, please, change your ways. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. |
Re: Nigeria Regains Cheapest Petrol In West Africa Title by nairalanda1(m): 7:27am On Feb 21 |
OredoPikin: LOL...self consolation From your own figures 1.Price of petrol in dollar in Nigeria: 0.39 2.Price of petrol in dollar in Liberia: 1.01 Now, let's assume that Liberians and NIgerians use naira 1.Price of petrol in NIgeria: 626.5 naira 2.Price of petrol in LIberia: 1,610 naira. Or let's assume that LIberians and Nigerians use Liberian dollar (by the way, the LIberian dollar is a useless currency, Liberians use the US dollar..). 1. Price of petrol in NIgeria: 80 Liberian dollars approx. 2.Price of petrol in LIberia :187 LIberian dollars approx. You were saying? |
Re: Nigeria Regains Cheapest Petrol In West Africa Title by nairalanda1(m): 7:28am On Feb 21 |

🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️⛽️⛽️⛽️⛽️⛽️🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️ Subsidy which was actually fully removed, has again reared up its ugly head due to the falling value of the yeye naira. Just as the price of everything has gone up, Petroleum products shouldn't be different so long as we continue importing. 🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️ Dangote that Buhari and indeed, Nigeria all put their hope on, is even singing a different tune and is more interested in importing crude oil and exporting his finished product to where he'll get more dollars💲💲💲 🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️ The Dangote matter is like helping to train a girl in university, with intention to marry her after graduation, only for her to change mind and gets another man for marriage. 🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️ Buhari and Mele Kyari, secretly gave Dangote billions of Nigeria dollars to ensure that he, a northern Muslim takes over the oil sector and keep the owners of the oil as slaves to Dangote.. |

The op of this write up is very stupid Yorubas are coward occupy Nigeria in 2012 were is Adeboye who joined protest against Jonathan because he wanted his member to become a vice president today the worst is happening Adeboye is telling Nigerians that Nigeria problem is spiritual. |
Re: Nigeria Regains Cheapest Petrol In West Africa Title by nairalanda1(m): 7:32am On Feb 21 |
OredoPikin: Yes, and I have shown you that Liberians pay more for petrol per liter than NIgerians Better accept the truth there. 632 naira is less in value compared to 192 liberian dollars. It is not more in value because it is a higher number, as you seem to think. |

Re: Nigeria Regains Cheapest Petrol In West Africa Title by nairalanda1(m): 7:35am On Feb 21 |
seguno2: Many of those west african countries pay more for electricity than we do, because they pay cost reflective tarrifs for power, something our government denies our discos from charging. Healthcare and education is realitvely free in many government schools here (which is why they are a mess, but that is another discussion). Same as many other african countries. (If one is on NHIS/PHIS, you even get cheap care relatively). |
Re: Nigeria Regains Cheapest Petrol In West Africa Title by nairalanda1(m): 7:37am On Feb 21 |
Benoxvals: SO, are you ready to make the sacrifices great nations need to make great. Like ...everyone pays taxes, we also pay cost reflective tarrifs for our power that we use, and no one owes NEPA Like tinubu and co, we really fight corruption, which means investigating Obasanjo, GEJ, Buhari, tinubu and any past army ruler, we deregulate the petrol sector, we incetivise manufacturing, we stop over importing, etc etc. NO, I guess we are not ready. |
Re: Nigeria Regains Cheapest Petrol In West Africa Title by keymatt(m): 7:39am On Feb 21 |
Cheapest Petrol Title With mass hunger and starvation in the land Is Liberia 🇱🇷 a major producer of crude oil like Nigeria, Algeria 🇩🇿 and Libya 🇱🇾 But during GEJ's time, Petrol ⛽ was very expensive to ojota dancers This sounds like agbado economics consolation. Truely empty cans make the loudest noise |
