On a serious note, Nigeria is under priced and have been enjoying a robust homegrown economy!

Compared to Sweden and Rwanda where I live, Nigerians are simply enjoying! Naira is useless outside Nigeria but strong in Nigeria!

You got those stuffs for less than a dollar, 5SEK or 800Rwf.

Here's the bit. 800Rwf can't get you anything reasonable in Rwanda to cook! It can't even get you a bottle of coke!

Don't even talk about Sweden, burger (Macdonald) is $9 about 90 SEK.

Nigerian useless politicians have misused the collective efforts of our hardworking citizens!

This is the reason why years of looting the treasury doesn't show effects until now!

This is just for one man. Imagine if I have wife and kids.
No impregnate any girl for this economy if you no get up to 2Meter for your account oooo.
Things are expensive, don't let your pinky put you in problem.

How much do you spend for breakfast (assuming you had no other food items at home)?

I should not eat animal protein?
I will slap you.
You don't need to eat fish in the morning or any animal protein in the morning for that matter. Is not akara and akamu, bread and akara, beans and garri that our parents used to eat in the morning?
You actually only need animal protein once a day

These comparisons are flawed. You would have to take the average wage in Sweden or Rwanda, then work out that can be purchased with that average wage in those countries, then compare with what the average wage in Nigeria can buy. Only then will you get to a realistic comparison

Re: See How I Spent ₦1000 by Bigkoko: 2:37pm On Feb 22
The average wage (Blue workers/IFmetall) is $2.7k pm. For white workers/Collectum) is anywhere from $3.5-5.5k pm.

Rwanda wages is unspecified, but I pay my Tech team between $150 pm to as high as $350 pm on a retainer. But you can get a worker for as low as $50 pm.

My point is that Naira in Nigeria is a powerful currency, you will only understand this when you travel out to other countries in Africa, not Western countries though!

You are doing well going local, but to be honest you don't really need the milk (it improves the taste but is not essential) just sugar and Akamu is ok. I just saved you N150 cheesy. Now you have N200 for lunch!
