And doesn't his leadership experience in the corporate world (which is more ruthless than all these state politics) sufficient experience instead of him being an SA. An executive governor has all the powers to "execute" than an SA who only provides ideas. We honestly need to step out of the mentality of expecting someone to speak the local language before than be seen as a "real" Ishan/Bini/Urhobo. I don't know this guy personally and have no inclination to support or oppose him as I'm not from Edo. But it's very disheartening to read that "he doesn't speak the language" should be enough grounds to "disqualify" him from running. If he has proven experience (corporate or political) to execute as a governor, let's focus on that rather than whether he can speak his local dialect or whether he only just joined active politics 6 months or 24 years ago
