Nigerian youths are just dullards who believed it is only the President who runs the country. Most of them do not even know the name of there Governors and Representatives in the Senate. Shitty Youths 1 Like |

boxypane: It's only the wise ones that will understand that the head/president in Nigeria has a great influence on how other government officials behaves. Keep electing funny characters and expecting miracles. |

9japride: Same Obi LP that couldn't stop LP lawmakers from collecting #160m SUV. Same Obi LP that couldn't stop LP lawmakers from collecting #2m prayers of Akpabio in their email box. When Obi told them not to collect the SUV jeep and the money, did they listen to him? I recall one of them told Obi that he had been in LP before Obi joined. So, can you now say Obi is in charge of LP members? Obi doesn't command the kind of respect you're attributing to him. Obi just came at a time people, especially the younger generation most of who just voted for the first time, were fed up with the Nigeria ruling class. Aside that, Obi doesn't fit into the hype you guys are attaching to him. 1 Like |

These governors and bank CEO are the major problem of this nation. ASIWAJU, NLC, NANS, NASS and general public should campaign and fight with everything in us to secure Local Government Autonomy from these evil people called governor. Without Local Government Autonomy, these criminals will continue to dollarize the system, put pressure on Naira and hardship on common man. Sen. Akpabio confirmed that they just received another 30Billion naira each, without any impact on the life of common man. They collect their allocations and still corner what is meant for Local Government. |

They are printing naira and changing it to $. They know Nigeria is in comatose, going on it knees, so they want to scoop as much as possible $ before that. If something is not done soonest, trouble is looming and there wont have a hiding place. The question is, who will probe who? |

Tareq1105: Peter Obi is no saint, but he's far better than all the politicians we have presently in Nigeria. Go and inquire on how he saved a lot of money in Anambra state. You guys like giving else for bad habits. So you think this present government is ready to reduce wastage? Tribalism and religious belief will not take anyone anywhere. Peter Obi is champion in saving cost of governance. |

The so-called free market system will never work in Nigeria. You know the reason why? CORRUPTION. Nigerian politicians are the most unpatriotic collection of human beings you'll ever see anywhere. If the naira is crashing, they are responsible because they don't even believe in the currency to start with. |

Re: Govs Responsible For $/N Hike, Converting Allocations To Dollars - Idris Usman by Bintasukai: 8:10pm On Feb 22 |
chisomkachy: This also happened under Objβs administration. It stopped when UK arrested Alamyesegha. Apparently the naira would fluctuate wildly one state allocations were paid because the Governors would all ship the money out of Nigeria. So when Alamyesiga was arrested on charges bordering on corruption, all the governors who were worried that they were next on the UKs corruption list stopped traveling, all at once. Suffice it to say that the fluctuation was not recorded in that month as Naira was very stable since the Governors were afraid of shipping it out. |
